Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?

I want to learn the best way to put eye makeup. Sometimes it ends up looking a little wrong and unnatural when i put eyeshadow and mascara. I prefer to go with dark colours.Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
It depends on your skin color and eye color.

Stick with either dark brown or black eyeliner, no weird colors. Don't use too much, just lightly outline the fringe of your lower eyelashes. It also helps to end this line at the midway point of your eyes, and you can even draw it back to the corner of your eye a bit. Eyeliner can pull your look together.

With mascara, dark brown or black once again, and only one coat from the corners of the lashes out. Don't do really weird or unnatural colors. Stick with more earthy tones, and neutral, sheer colors. If you are really pale, use lighter colors. And don't use blue, it will wash your face out. If it still looks funny, cut down on it, maybe skip eyeshadow if it looks odd.

Hope that helps!

vieojug.com in this site, you will find all kinds of videos that show you how to apply make-up !!
ooooo. if you have brown eyes you could get a dark green eyeliner and use it just on your bottom lid. sounds wierd but is pretty. also if you get smudgeproof liquid eyeliner in black or brown and (with lots of practise..or get a felttip end one) draw a line on your top lid only on the lashline. then flick it out a little at the outer corner of your eye where the natural crease is. this can look really nice. i usually only use eyeliner on top or bottom lid never both at once. and eyelash curlers are sooo good!
Go for something that maches your skin tone and hair colour, don't put to much make up on make is look natural. Dark colours are good for a natural look but it's nice to put some brighter colours in aswell.
If you sweep a neutral, pale colur on first all over the lid...a tiny bit of shimmer in it...then use a dark colour on the crease and blend it in welll, that looks good...wet a fine brush and dip in a very dark brown or grey and use it like an eyeliner on your upper lash line...its easier than pencil or liquid liner .
Use a lighter color or frost type shade all over lids. Then use a darker color where the crease of your eyelids are. Then you could highlight with a light color above the crease on your upper eyelid. Make sure you blend so you don't see harsh lines. Using various eyebrushes are important rather than what's given to you in eyeshadows. Open your eyes as well while applying to see if it looks right. Use eyeliner and draw a line as close to the lashes as possible because the idea is to make your eyelashes look thicker. To line lower lash apply eyeliner starting at outter part working your way in to about half way and smudge it a bit.

For mascara, curl your lashes first then apply a couple of coats to your lashes.
I suggest using shades of gray to get that smokey eye look going on. Its so sexy and so in style! And its so easy! First, apply the darkest shade of eyeliner on the lash line. Second, apply the second darkest shade in the crease. Third, apply the silvery gray on the lid itself. Fourth, apply the lightest shade (like a pale pink) as a highlight under the brow. Blend it. Fifth, and last, apply two coats of mascara. And you're done! It's the perfect look for a date! You'll love it girl!
