I have blonde hair, and dark blue eyes. I find that black liner makes my eyes look smaller, so usually I wear purple liner, dark purple shadow and black mascara.
I'd like like to make my eyes pop, what colours/products should I be using?
ThanksWhat colours of eye makeup should I be wearing?
Blue eyes stand out with browns and coral shades. Black is too harsh. Almay has a new line out called ';intense i-color';. It's so cute, they have specific colors for every eye color. They have shadow, liner, %26amp; mascara, all coordinated to match your eyecolor. check it out. What colours of eye makeup should I be wearing?
use a light gray or light pink shadow. skip the liner and just use the black or brown mascara and shadow
Always go for opposites to make your eyes pop (think complementary colors on the color wheel). Try some shimmery browns, reddish browns, and greens.
since u have dark eyes i'd suggest using like a violet eyeshadow or maybe a dark pink if u really want them 2 POP!! LOL. and that violet eyeshadow would look good with that purple eyeliner u have
use light oranges and light blues. it sounds stupid, but it does work.
you could try a shade of silver light pink or light blue and if you go to places that sell loads of makeup you will find different colours of liner . But you should try white or even light blue!!!
Go for a silver eyeshadow above the eye, make it a thin line.. Then use a blue eyeliner over that.. And on your eye lid use some light colour, like golden or even white.. Cuz light colours make the eyes look bigger.. Use mascara lol, don't forget that one!!
Like clothing, eyeshadow colors have their seasons...certain colors for fall, spring, summer and winter. Just crack open magazines and keep up with the times.
White eyeliner makes eyes appear bigger, for the eyeshadow try a soft pink.
Using a light vanilla, apply over your lid, through your crease and extend to your brow line. Now use a soft brown (light) and apply to the outer 1/3 of your eye. Blend well. Now take a chocolate brown and apply to the crease of your eye, blending well. Apply chocolate liner to your upper lids and 1-2 coats of black/brown mascara.
Bluegreen!
Blue-eyed blondes look especially good in Grey's and, instead of using black liner, mix some brown and black together to tone down the black. You can also use a mixing medium (you can get this at Sephora or MAC stores) and use your darkest grey color as a liner. Black is just a little too harsh for you.
Dark Navy is another great color for you and, assuming your eyes are not deepset, this would create a lovely smokey eye look for a blonde blue eye.
Stila shadows have lots of greys as do Laura Mercier:

For Navy, try out Bobbi Brown and Lancome which has some particularly beautiful blues this season:

Green gold yellow purple are all good colours of shadow
Wear shades of brown shadow and use brown eyeliner with black mascara. Open up your eyes with lighter colors
Wear medium brown eyeshadow over your lid, and then a light pink on the crease. Put white on the brow bone and blend well.
Put a brown liquid liner near your bottom lash-line. Make it a defined, but subtle line.
A dark, rich brown pencil eyeliner is really great.
Urban decay has this color called bourbon, and it's great
Make sure you curl your lashes, and you can put the curler under a blow-dryer on hot prior to using it.
After your eyelashes are curled, apply mascara in a brownish black.
for an evening look, wing the eyeliner for a cat eye look
hope this helps!
Products-
Urban Decay Glide on Eye Pencil in Bourbon
Almay Intense i-color liquid liner in brown
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Luminous shadow in Bronze ambition, too too pink, and glow nude
Maybelline Define-a-Lash Mascara
You should be able to find these all at a drug store for a reasonable price, except for the Urban Decay eyeliner. I'm sure you can find a cheaper alternative, but the color is perfect for blue eyes.

Can I use eye makeup remover with my contacts in?
I use the 30 day/30 night contacts that I do not take out at night, can I still use eye make up remover when my contacts are in?Can I use eye makeup remover with my contacts in?

I suggest, the Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup remover. You shouldn't be pulling or tugging at the eye. The eye is a very sensitive area. Once your eye gets out of shape it doesn't go back.
Yes and no - it really depends on how much makeup you are wearing and if your using the right eye makeup remover. I suggest Mary Kay Eye Make Up Remover; it works great and I use it with my contacts in. Also, a cheap alternative is petroleum jelly! If your wearing heavy makeup, I suggest taking out your contacts before removing your makeup to avoid any irritation.
Yes you can, just make sure if you accidentally get any in your eye that you rinse your eye AND your lens well.
Take out your lens and rinse in solution thoroughly as some make up remover may remain on the lens and when you put it back in your eye it will sting again.
I rarely ever take out my contacts and have always used remover...just dont get it in your eyes!
yes but be extremly careful when you get really close to your eyes
Yes, if you are careful.
Sure! As long as you dont get it in your eyes! I have contacts and i use makeup remover pads! HOPE THIS HELPS!
Yeah, as long as you are careful not to get it in your eyes. I do the same thing and I got a little in my left eye last night and it was not pretty.

How do you do really dark eye makeup?
I really want to learn to do eye makeup that's really black, but every time I try it doesn't look right. Any suggestions? Proper basic stuff helps xHow do you do really dark eye makeup?
Jerk below me is so rude. Anyway, have you ever tried black MAC eye shadow? and also there is this product at MAC that you put on your eyes before you put on your eye shadow and it helps it stay on longer and go on ';darker.'; But also try holding the outer corner of your eye and stretch it over to your hairline, not to be racist, but as if your making your eyes look asian, then apply the eye shadow in one even motion and repeat back and forth. How do you do really dark eye makeup?
Look at all those fantastic tutorials on youtube... a lot of girls are putting tutorials there for you to learn how to apply makeup (see in the category Howto %26amp; style) or you can search my 2 favorite ladies : julieg713 (Julie) and panacea81 (Lauren). basically, I use black eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes.. grey eye shadow and black liquid eyeliner on the top!
hope that helps

Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
I want to learn the best way to put eye makeup. Sometimes it ends up looking a little wrong and unnatural when i put eyeshadow and mascara. I prefer to go with dark colours.Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
It depends on your skin color and eye color.
Stick with either dark brown or black eyeliner, no weird colors. Don't use too much, just lightly outline the fringe of your lower eyelashes. It also helps to end this line at the midway point of your eyes, and you can even draw it back to the corner of your eye a bit. Eyeliner can pull your look together.
With mascara, dark brown or black once again, and only one coat from the corners of the lashes out. Don't do really weird or unnatural colors. Stick with more earthy tones, and neutral, sheer colors. If you are really pale, use lighter colors. And don't use blue, it will wash your face out. If it still looks funny, cut down on it, maybe skip eyeshadow if it looks odd.
Hope that helps!
-kAny suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
vieojug.com in this site, you will find all kinds of videos that show you how to apply make-up !!
ooooo. if you have brown eyes you could get a dark green eyeliner and use it just on your bottom lid. sounds wierd but is pretty. also if you get smudgeproof liquid eyeliner in black or brown and (with lots of practise..or get a felttip end one) draw a line on your top lid only on the lashline. then flick it out a little at the outer corner of your eye where the natural crease is. this can look really nice. i usually only use eyeliner on top or bottom lid never both at once. and eyelash curlers are sooo good!
Go for something that maches your skin tone and hair colour, don't put to much make up on make is look natural. Dark colours are good for a natural look but it's nice to put some brighter colours in aswell.
If you sweep a neutral, pale colur on first all over the lid...a tiny bit of shimmer in it...then use a dark colour on the crease and blend it in welll, that looks good...wet a fine brush and dip in a very dark brown or grey and use it like an eyeliner on your upper lash line...its easier than pencil or liquid liner .
Use a lighter color or frost type shade all over lids. Then use a darker color where the crease of your eyelids are. Then you could highlight with a light color above the crease on your upper eyelid. Make sure you blend so you don't see harsh lines. Using various eyebrushes are important rather than what's given to you in eyeshadows. Open your eyes as well while applying to see if it looks right. Use eyeliner and draw a line as close to the lashes as possible because the idea is to make your eyelashes look thicker. To line lower lash apply eyeliner starting at outter part working your way in to about half way and smudge it a bit.
For mascara, curl your lashes first then apply a couple of coats to your lashes.
I suggest using shades of gray to get that smokey eye look going on. Its so sexy and so in style! And its so easy! First, apply the darkest shade of eyeliner on the lash line. Second, apply the second darkest shade in the crease. Third, apply the silvery gray on the lid itself. Fourth, apply the lightest shade (like a pale pink) as a highlight under the brow. Blend it. Fifth, and last, apply two coats of mascara. And you're done! It's the perfect look for a date! You'll love it girl!

How to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
I recently found out I need glasses because my friends noticed my makeup was getting a little sloppy. Now I can see but I haven't figured out yet how to do makeup around my eyes while I'm wearing glasses (contacts aren't an option). It may be a stupid obvious question but I don't know the answer! ThanksHow to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
alright, what your going to want to do is put your glasses all the way at the tip of your nose, then tilt your head up just a little. this will allow you to see, but still have room to apply your make up. How to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
i wear glasses too, and what you do is you take off your glasses before applying makeup, but you stand close to the mirror so you can see what your doing! (:

I don't have either but a smoky eye is always a good choice... for example do a light grey or silver on your lid with either a dark grey or black in your crease. Do your eyeliner whichever way looks best... for example I have really large eyes so I do mine thick and smudged but my friend has smaller eyes and does hers thin and clean. You can do the same with a light/dark brown. :)I need some hot eye makeup ideas that involves eyeliner brown or grey eyes shadow?

How do you get a smokey look when doing eye makeup?
How do you get a smokey look when doing eye makeup? Without it being too dark. How do you get a smokey look when doing eye makeup?
Just try searching for ';smoky eye'; on youtube.com or even on google. Toms of tutorials will pop up, some easier than others.
If you're worried about it being too dark, I suggest using a shimmer-y chocolate or taupe brown instead of a black shadow and liner. Deep blues, teals, and plums also work great!
For a quick smoky eye, I use a pencil liner to line my entire eye, using a thick line above the lashes and a thin line along the bottom rim. Then I use either a small shadow brush or sponge applicator to smudge a bit of similarly colored eyeshadow on top of the liner, blending harsh edges with a fluffy shadow brush loaded with a peach or nude shadow.
Don't forget loads of mascara! How do you get a smokey look when doing eye makeup?
The key to the perfect smoky eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.
Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called ';primer';). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.
Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.
Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to ';smudge it.'; You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.
Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist ';mousse'; consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.
Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.
Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.
Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara.
xx. hope i helped

What eye makeup would make brown eyes pop?
Like what kind of eyeshadow and eyeliner and anything else please? What eye makeup would make brown eyes pop?
Blues. Always go with polar opposites. If you have golden brown eyes, go with a warmer or brighter blue. If they're dark brown, go with a navy. Just use it sparingly.
Green eyes = purple
Blue eyes = brown
Brown eyes = blue
Gray doesn't have a polar opposite, it's just gray, so wear grays with them.
You always want to choose polar opposites to make another color pop out. If you just use the same color as your eyes they'll look dull.
And I would not recommend purple unless you are doing a shade that is closer to blue than it is purple. Purple is for green eyes. What eye makeup would make brown eyes pop?
Mmkay, i have brown eyes too, so this one is easy for me:
The best colours for brown eyes are either plums or blues. Those would be your shadows; I reccomend Skinny Dip by TooFaced (blue)

A good plum palette is the Smashbox trio in Panorama:

Mascara should be just a basic black. You should get a staple brown/black liner to darken your eyes, but then get a crazy colour, like teal, if you want to. I also really like gray eyeliner.

purple! at least thats what i see when i go shopping for make up. if you look around, certain eyeshadows, eyeliners, and mascaras are made specifically for brown eyes.you just have to look

Use the Almay Intense Eyes Makeup set for brown eyes. I have it for blue eyes and it works wonders!

How should I wear eye makeup on my small eyes?
I usually have a problem with my small eyes. I like wearing eyeliner and eyeshadow, but when I put on the eyeliner, you don't see the shadow, just black eyeliner because my eyes are so small. (i'm not chinese either!)... any help? How should I wear eye makeup on my small eyes?
Try putting darker eyeshadow on the outsides of your eye and lighter on the inside, or try something like this product:
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
They can make your eyes look bigger if you apply it right, directions are on the back of the case. I use those quad eyeshadow things and I love them :)
I put liquid eyeliner (it can take a lot of practice to get it right) on my top lid, then I take black eyeshadow and go over the eyeliner to make it look sort of smokey. This can make your eyes look bigger, too.
Also, when putting eyeliner on the bottom part of your eye, don't put it on your waterline. Put it below your waterline, like on your lash line.
What I do is I use liquid on the bottom too. I apply it on my lashline, not on my waterline, and if I mess up I take a q-tip, get it wet with makeup remover, and just take away the parts that I don't want.
It's easy if you practice :)How should I wear eye makeup on my small eyes?
nothing to dark or you eye will look beaty.I would recommend switching to brow eye liner it gives the same effect as the black and look just as nice.and the brand I would recommend is mac.mac has best make up in the world!!
if you have small eyes you shouldnt be putting eye liner on your top eyelids only on your bottom lids. apply a light eye shadow up to your brow bone and darker eye shadow closer to your eye, this will make your eyes appear bigger and bolder. good luck :]

What happens if you don't take off your eye makeup every night?
Sometimes I get so lazy at night I don't want to sit there and wash it off. What happens if you sleep with all of it on and do this on a regular basis? What happens if you don't take off your eye makeup every night?
well you will break out and you can also get eye infections
you may be lazy, but once you wash your face you will feel better about it
cause it cleans off all the dirt and oil from your makeupWhat happens if you don't take off your eye makeup every night?
Well its REALLY important to take off makeup before you go to sleep
1. You can get eye infections
2. really puffy eyes
3. Your skin on your eyes will age more quickly and become wrinkly
Do not go to sleep with makeup on and say ';Oh I'll just take it off directly when I wake up'; - no - take it off before you go to bed
youll get eye infections. i knew a nasty *** girl who would always do that and in the morning just put more makeup on over it, her skin was so nasty. you could also clog your tear ducts and thats almost impossible to unclog even with surgery.
it will clog your pores. one word -acne.
mascara is the worst. It will make your eyelashes weak and fall out eventually.
The makeup will clog your pores which means... BREAKOUTS.
It'll smudge and you won't feel so glamourous when you wake up.

Is there a more casual way to wear smokey eye makeup?
I love the smokey eye look, but when i do it, i feel like i shouldnt be wearing it on a daily basis. Is there a more casual approach to smokey eyes?Is there a more casual way to wear smokey eye makeup?
here is my smokey eye...step by step and simple as can be...
(((for a more casual, daytime look, work with neutral browns and pastel colors)))
start with a thin layer of shadow base or eye primer
black or dark grey shadow in the shape of a sideways V on the corner of the eye, working into the crease with a flat shadow brush (i use merle norman shadow in ebony and palladio flat shadow brush)
lighter grey shimmer shadow over the lid with a contour shadow brush, blending into the first darker shade (mac idol eyes is my favorite for this step, with a mark contour brush)
silvery/champagne shimmer shadow under the brow bone and dotted on inner corners of eyes with full shadow brush (merle norman shadow in sun beam with avon shader brush)
black liner all the way across top lid, slightly thicker on outer edges, and 3/4 way across bottom (avon glimmersticks liner in blackest black)
sweep thin line of medium shimmer grey under lower lash line, below and slightly over black liner
curl lashes and add 2 coats of volumizing black mascara (maybelline volum' express turbo boost 7Xs mascara in black)
-you can also do a smokey eye with shades of brown, purple, green... any color. i am wearing a smokey eye in greens right now... nile/vine duo from merle norman.
stila (at sephora) has a smokey eye kit that has 4 shadows in a palette...push a tiny button and a voice speaks instructions to you. there is also a holographic image of an eye that shows where the different shades go when you turn it. 30-something $$$
for drugstore palettes, try revlon, loreal, covergirl and maybelline. i know all of those lines carry them, but not sure of the names. avon also has a shadow quads. ';sueded nudes'; is a good one for browns, and ';smokey eyes'; is good for greys, although the greys are on the lighter side. you could also try ';fresh cut greens'; and ';vintage violets';.
good luck and have fun!!!Is there a more casual way to wear smokey eye makeup?
Try smudging your eyeliner and applying a more neutral shimmering shade to the eyelid and a slightly deeper complimentary shade in the crease of the eye. Silver colors look great at night and shimmery beiges/bronzes and browns are good for the day time. In my opinion smudging and blending the eyeliner gives a softer more natural smoky eye.
Well, you can use browns and greys instead of black or
just put some eyeliner around your eyes and gently smudge to create a smokey effect, but skip the eyeshadow and don't make the lines too thick.
Instead of the black/grey smokey eye, i use browns/creams and shimmer for the daytime smokey eye!
To get a daytime smokey eye, I have a less deep version of the same colors I would use at night--for example if you use dark gray, downgrade to a heather/slate gray. Additionally, I put the eyeliner on the inside edges of the lid rather than the outside so that it still makes my lashes look thick but doesn't give that made up look.
it depends on your coloring. my friend looks really natural in smoky makeup b/c of her hair color.
Sure there is! I just line the bottom and top of my eye, but smudge the top of the lid. You can just add some dark eyeshadow (not too dark cause you want it casual) and then maybe a gold color! You'll look great!
yeah there is. The smokey eye look is very pretty, and it can be done lightly and heavy. Most people do it heavier, but if you like it, you could try it lighter for daily wear. Go with a charcoal grey and then smudge instead of black. It will have the same affect with a slightly lighter more subtle shade. Hope this is what you wanted!
try lighter browns or greys so that its not as intense =]

What color eye makeup would look good on me?
I have dark-medium brown hair, light brown cafe-au-lait skin and small, yet almond shaped dark, reddish-brown eyes. What color(s) eyeshadow/eyeliner would you all suggest for a cute smoky eye look? What color eye makeup would look good on me?
Virtual Makeover. It's free, super easy and fun. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click http://marykay.com/mgunther2What color eye makeup would look good on me?
Three shades.
1) vanilla to put in the corner of your eyes closest to your nose.
2)dark brown to put on the outter edges of your eyes
3)black (shade, not eyeliner. The shade makes it look more natural and smooth and not so ';defined';). Put it just above your eye lashes.
Use black mascara.
a creamy brown eye shadow would be perfect for you for the eyeliner black or dark brown is a really cute simple choice that almost everyone can use!
Use an eye liner and eye shadow that matches your skin tone----use blacks and browns---find a brown that is as close to your natural skin tone as possible
Try this : lightly dust with very light purple all of\ver eyelid, do liquid liner on top lid, then add brown %26amp; grey eye shadow and blend to fade into the purple.
It works for me!
first of all put a cream color shade all over your eye then apply a goldish brown color on lid ,and at the corners use smoky black shade.
i think golden eyeshadow would be great! but no eyeliner, just a bit of mascara or black kohl well blended
i think that a dark green or black or even a nice chocolate brown shade will look on u to give u that smokey eye

How can i get my eye makeup to stay on and not fade away?
It would help if you knew some brands also that are good. How can i get my eye makeup to stay on and not fade away?
I love Bobbi Brown and Trish McEvoy. My favorite way to apply eyeliner is to dampen a small brush and smoosh it around on eyeshadow. (My favorite colors are dark brown and plum.) Then I use that as the eyeliner. When it dries it seems to stay on longer than pencils. That said, Benefits has this great big kohl pencil that I put on and smudge with a Q-tip.How can i get my eye makeup to stay on and not fade away?
artistry is a very good brand.
try different brands my mom uses covergirl and i use wet n wild
Put liquid foundation on and follow with powdered. I do that and it stays on until I take it off at night.
Well it depends what kind of eye make up
Mascarea--Just buy a long lasting one
Eyeshadow-- Before you buy it test it out on your hand rub it in see how long it takes to fade away... cream eyeshadows dont stay on for very long at all.. so try normal ones....brands and makees dont really matter!!
Eyeliner-- water proof
Spray some hairspray lightly over your face when you've done your make-up
You need to use an eye primer under your eye makeup. It helps your makeup stay on longer and keep it's vibrant color. Mary Kay has a wonderful product called MK Signature Eye Primer. I love it!
You can check it out at www.marykay.com/akosmoore. If you would like a sample or two, you can send an email to akosmoore@marykay.com.
Have fun and stay fabulous!
certian ones stay on longer than others
If your eyeshadow is disappearing try putting some foundation make up on first, this keeps it in place. There are lots of good brands that are not expensive, just stay away from the really cheap stuff.
Here are the brands I use that don't run:
Rimmel Special Eyes
Loreal Wear Infinite
Avon Glimmersticks
Avon Ultraluxury
Do NOT use Avon Colortrend. I sell Avon but those run like hell.
Before you put on eyeshadow, on your eyelid, smear LITTLE bit of vaseline on your eyelid and that will help your eyeshadow stick on for a longer time. Make sure not to put too much or your eyes will look ';greasy';
loreal is a very good brand it neva wears off i always use it

What are good non waterproof eye makeup brands?
im looking for eye makeup that isn't waterproof.
its a pain to get off.
help! What are good non waterproof eye makeup brands?
I love nars, urban decay, and mac.
Urban Decay: Beautiful colors. I suggest the palettes because it`s a great deal. They also have suggestions for what color combinations to put together
Mac: Absolute love! Stays on all day and it`s great pigmentation. A million different shades! My fave.
Nars: Slightly expensive but AMAZING pigmentation. Gives mac a run for it`s money. The only reason it isn`t my fave is because there aren`t as much eyeshadow colors and it`s more expensive. But still AMAZING!What are good non waterproof eye makeup brands?
Smashbox, doesnt smudge and ive never had a running problem in the rain, but wipes off easily with my makeup wipes
The Lash Blast by Cover Girl comes in both Non-waterproof and water proof. It is absolutely amazing! I love that stuff, it really makes my lashes POP!
Urban Decay, MAC, Lancome.
I like Rimmel for non-waterproof.

What color eye makeup would go well with a pink prom dress?
I have blue eyes and medium to dark brown hair. I don't want to use pink makeup though, I just don't like the way it looks on myself. Any suggestions? What color eye makeup would go well with a pink prom dress?
Never match your eyemakeup or lipstick to the dress..big fashion faux paux!
I agree with the people here go with a smokey eye. You can do a smokey plum, or a smokey brown or a smokey grey and silver. Just dont do pink! And if you decide to go with the smoky eye, the rest of the makeup should be toned down, the lips should be a neutral gloss. etc.
If you decide to go a more natural look like champagne and shimmer on the eyes.. you could give a nice flush to the cheeks and lips. What color eye makeup would go well with a pink prom dress?
Silver eyeshadow would look really good.
i would use a fairy dust pink or also a shimmer or even a light white hope this helps you
Any neutral light or if you want sexy...so a smokey black.
nueturals(for the eyes) and black mascara
a light gold or something in that range
just use black eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss just be simple and u will look so pretty
Shimmery champagne
try a subtle goldish-brownish. something that will look sexy in your prom pics!
soft brown eyeshadow maybe with a little gold will enhance your blue eyes and would be very affective without it looking too over done.
i think a silver eye shadow would complete your look and go great with blue eyes and med-dark brown hair....silver isn't to dark and it's not to light so that it won't be noticed. pink and silver are actually good colors to combine because they don't clash with each other....
A nice brown (light) likea shadow effect.
colors and meanings
gold :your a star
silver:sparkily indipendent,and a pretty pincess
purple:outstanding
hot pink: you like to have fun
red:your sexy but suttle
powder white:sparks of popular
You could use balck and go for a more smokey approach to it.
It doesn't have to be pink.
If you go kindof in-between those colors, pink %26amp; red, for a light red color, not too dark, but not too light, that should work.
You will want to stay away from blues or browns.
definatly not pink.
pink makes your eyes look real tired.
so go for some metallic cream eyeshadow. ( cus you get hot and sweaty when you dance, and you dont wnat that makeup to come off). maybe a gold or sliver. that will really make your eyes stand out.
i say if you did a black smokey eye it would look really cute against the pink. or maybe like a light brown-champagne color. they would both be cute.
maybe a glittery white?
black
orr..your skin color(would be nice if it shimmered)
try gold or purple, also a periwinkle color would look good
hope that helped
Goldish Silverish color would match really good or you can mail this advice person Holly at advice_4111_@hotmail.com
a super smoky brown would really compliment the dress and your eyes. if you're daring, try a dark emerald green. Violet stands out against your hair, eyes, and dress, and, from what i know, makes you stand out.
either silver or champagne sumthing sparkly!!!
black eyeliner and silverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr eye shadow with tons of mascara for popping eyes!!!%26lt;3skin lyrics
Never match your eyemakeup or lipstick to the dress..big fashion faux paux!
I agree with the people here go with a smokey eye. You can do a smokey plum, or a smokey brown or a smokey grey and silver. Just dont do pink! And if you decide to go with the smoky eye, the rest of the makeup should be toned down, the lips should be a neutral gloss. etc.

Does anyone know of an eye makeup primer i can find in a drugstore or walmart?
I'm purchasing some new pigments soon and i want an eye primer to prevent creasing. Does anyone know if there are any primers made by the brands commonly found in everyday stores.Does anyone know of an eye makeup primer i can find in a drugstore or walmart?
Natural Beauty by Sally Hansen has an eye shadow primer. You can buy it in CVS and at ulta, I think its like $8.Does anyone know of an eye makeup primer i can find in a drugstore or walmart?
I know how odd it sounds, but I use Monistat's Chafing Relief Powder Gel as my eye-makeup primer; my eyes are far too sensitive to use anything else. It's only about $7 a tube and it lasts for a super-long time. It keeps my makeup from creasing and makes my lids and makeup look flawless.
you can always check out the rave reviews on makeupalley.com and on You Tube...other people have tried it as a foundation primer; but because I have no problems with my foundation, I use it for my eye-pigments.
give it a try : )
L'oreal Hip makes one called Color Extender. You can also get one at CVS made by Lumene. Personally, I use a cream eye shadow by Wet n Wild called Mega Eyes in Champagne. It is a nude colored cream eyeshadow. I got it for 99 cents. It even helps the el cheapo ELF shadows stay on for 10+ hours a day.
I'm not sure of any drugstore primers, but I've had luck using a thin layer of concealer with a bit of mattifying powder.

How do I do my eye makeup really good?
It always just smudges and doesnt look right, I need tipsHow do I do my eye makeup really good?
watch tutorials on youtube, or i can do it for you :DHow do I do my eye makeup really good?
First to make it easier to apply eyeshadow, an eyeshadow brush is really good. Those little sponge applicators don't do the job. To prevent your eyshadow from creasing, get an eyeshadow primer. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance, it works really good. Blending is great for eyeshadow, blend similar colors and you'll look fantabulous. ;)
Make sure you have a steady hand while (if) applying eyeliner. Apply a bit of foundation (or powder) on your lids to make eyeshadow appear more even. Get a good mascara. If doing smokey look, don't overdo the dark eyeshadow (else you'll look trashy). But it's all up to taste.
honestly there's a lot of different tricks %26amp; tips to learn...youtube you can actually see what ppl are doin %26amp; interact wit them
Go to a store like Nordstrom when they're having a trend show, or set an appointment at Sephora. They'll teach you how to do your makeup really well. I can't really help much

What color eye makeup should i wear?
I have grey eyes that have gold specks in them. I have really light brown hair that is almost blonde. I have light skin and i wear glasses with blue frames and another pair with red frames. What color mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow should i wear? Also should i wear different colors with different pairs of glasses or when i dont wear them? What color eye makeup should i wear?
To make grey eyes stand out you should wear shades of rich brown and mocha on your eyes. You can also use shades that have a slightly mauvish hue. ALWAYS use black mascara, that goes for all eye colours and I don't care if purple and green come into fashion, just don't wear any mascara colour other than black.
The best eye shadow and eye liner colours to wear are the ones that you feel prettiest in and that is something you have to find out by trying various colours on your own. See which ones feel like ';you'; and that's what you should wear! What color eye makeup should i wear?
Definitely use black mascara.
As for your eyes...maybe even try a black eyeliner. Cover girl eye liner pencils are really great.
But you can use other color eye liners also, depends on what you wear.
Maybe use light brown eye shadows too. Remember, the darker brown goes on your eye lid...the medium brown filling in up to your brows. Then a very light brown to tone down the medium brown around your brows. What I'm trying to say is be sure to blend it all in.
I almost look like you.
(:
I have medium green eyes and medium brown hair and light skin.
Because your hair is lighter than mine, I would reccomend using brown eyeliner and brown mascara. Use purple or silvery eyeshadow.
It looks amazing.
I have the same. Red glasses- Gold eyeshadow, to bring out the flecks. Purple or black eyeliner. Black mascara.
but for the blue frames- wear a purple eyeshadow instead.
i say brown mascara plum eyeliner not too much and a mauvish color eyeshadow and light pink lipgloss nothing too dramatic this is when u don't wear glasses hopes this helps
a light sparckly brown

Where's the best place online to learn how to apply good eye makeup for a complete beginner?
never wear more than mascara so where can I learn how to do more with my eyes to relaly emphasise them? Video tutorials anyone?Where's the best place online to learn how to apply good eye makeup for a complete beginner?

My suggestion: You can't go wrong with a light, shimmery color. They are very forgiving! Just put it all over your eyelid, from right below your eyebrow to right above your lashes. If you want a more dramatic look, take a slightly darker color, put it on a small, sort of puffy brush, and just rub it in the crease of your eyelid from the outside edge to above your pupil. Your eyes will really pop! If you're a beginner with eyeliner, it will take practice! Start with a brown or gray (black only if you have really dark skin) and just outline your eye. Don't outline the inner corner right by your nose- it will make your eyes look close together. And don't try anything too dramatic, it will probably just look silly. And line outside your lashes or you risk eye infection!Where's the best place online to learn how to apply good eye makeup for a complete beginner?

i really think the only way to figure it out is to set aside an evening and practise different ways - i tried to do it the wat they say but i always go back to my own way.....
print some picture of peopel with good eyeliner off or cut them out of magazines and try to copy - see what suits you.....
following directions never works cos eveyones face is different.
I used to work for Clinique. And on there website they have a section where you can ask the experts just click on ';Miss Clinique'; and you chose a eye shape, lip shape, face shape. What colours to use. what skin care you should use ect... It is really helpful. It helps you know how to make the best of what you have.

Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?
I'm sick and tired of the black eyeliner/eyehadow smokey eye look because everyyyyyyyyyone seems to be wearing some form of it from schoolgirls, to middle age mums to celebs.. I want something different.
What do you recommened? Atm I just apply some silvery gloss on my eyelids and mascara because everyones eyes jsut look that same!
Any ideas? Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?
There are several looks you can go for, depending on how dramatic you are willing to go! Here are just a few that my previous clients have requested:
1. Natural colours, if done dramatically, can have a huge impact. Think browns and dusy colours. Highlight the inner eye lid with a shimmering tone to really make your eyes pop.
2. Try doing pastel or muted pale tones with black gel eyeliner flicked at the end. Rim your bottom lid with white eyeliner. It's a very japanese look and it's always in fashion. Grab a slanted thin brush to make sure your eyeliner goes on perfectly.
3. Colour gradients are my personal fave if you have the skin and fashion to pull them off. Choose three bold colours next to each other on the colour wheel that suit your skin well (I like to use yellow, orange and pink). Blend from the lightest colour on the inner eye, medium colour on the main lid to the darkest colour on the outer eye. Rim the bottom of your eyes with the darkest colour too, and try some coloured mascara to finish the look.
4. Harsh lines can suit certain eyes, but it takes a lot of playing around to get the right shape for you. Take any of your favorite colours and mix with a small amount of water (do this on only half of the eyeshadow because it will ruin its ability to be picked up by brushes when dry). Mix until you see a paste on the end of your brush. Use this to paint a cats eye shape around your eye. If you don't want to ruin your eyeshadows, grab a gel based eyeliner or a cream eyeshadow with GOOD staying power.
5. Dual tones are also a great way to go if you like your eyes to stand out. Use one colour on your top lid and an opposite colour on the bottom. Green and pink, blue and orange, black a silver or black and gold are always popular. If you want to tone it down, skin tones and browns on top with a dusty blue on the bottom look beautiful and safe enough to wear to work. Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?
Here are five different looks to go for:
1. Only neutral eyeshadow and a nice coat of mascara for a natural yet awake look.
2. You can just apply black eyeliner (or any color) to your waterline and use mascara, only applying a neutral eyeshadow all over you lid (off-white, for example).
3. Or you can get the cat look by applying eyeliner on your lids.
4. You can also apply only one color (light purple, silver, baby blue, whatever) on your whole lid and some mascara...
5.You can apply color around your whole eye (baby blue, gold brown, etc.), just don't make it too thick!
well
you could do the smokey look with any range of colors availabe too you
it looks realy good in blue but stay away from blue if you have blue eyes
any looks are in right now so experiement, just be clear of these rules and get your own look
-NEVER USE THE SAME EYESHADOW AS YOU EYE COLOUR
it will drain your eyes and yes that does include a darkblue with blue eyes jsut dont do it
-generally green, purple, silver and black compliment blue eyes
-generally blue, purple, gold and brown compliment green eyes
-generally black, pale pink, green, orange and gold are good for brown eyes, being careful with the orange
-gold makes bags appear less dark
-always highlight your brow bone it will open up your eyes so much
-white suits anyone
good luck finding the new look! hope i helped xx
i like the dramatic color ideas. you can just wet a skinny lip liner brush then dip it in a platelet of a glittery color eyeshadow that isnt dark or pale, but viberante colors are the best. you use that as eyeliner. then you add a shade the lightest shade of that color that you have and put that all over the lid and smooth it out to make it look okay under the brow. then add a medium shade on the lid alone.
sorry i know that was not the most helpful example but i tried. lol.

What do you think is the best way to remove makeup, such as eye makeup?
I have used oil based makeup remover and regular body lotion which works as well. I have used Nivea, which worked well. The oily MR kind of stung my eyes though... And lotion doesn't seem to be made for the job. What do you think is the best way to remove makeup, such as eye makeup?
One of the things that I use is aloe vera. I live in Jamaica so I can't always get other things and I found that the aloe works and it's good for your skin! What do you think is the best way to remove makeup, such as eye makeup?
Lancome eye make-up remover....it's the best especially for mascara. expensive though..........
Mary Kay's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover is the best! It's a special formula that works great for removing even waterproof eye makeup without tugging at your eyes. It's oil-free, fragrance-free and can even be used if you have contacts.
I never used eye makeup remover before, just water and a tissue, until I tried this and I absolutely LOVE it. Check the link below for more information and to find a consultant in your area who can even let you try it.
This might sound weird, but try using Petroleum Jelly,I use it and it works well at removing eye makeup exspecialy mascara and it doesn't cost a lot.skin lyrics

This might sound weird, but try using Petroleum Jelly,I use it and it works well at removing eye makeup exspecialy mascara and it doesn't cost a lot.
How can I apply eye makeup (eye liner and mascara) the right way for my specific eye shape?
I'm asian and i don't have fold on my eye lid. So i'm not really sure what to do. Mascara doesn't do very much for me and unless i apply a lot of eye liner, it wont show on the top. I feel like when i apply it on the bottom lash line, it always turns out to be too much. What should i do?How can I apply eye makeup (eye liner and mascara) the right way for my specific eye shape?
If you use an eyelash curler before applying mascara, that might help. Also, use a thick, curling mascara to give your lashes an extra boost. You might even need two coats. For eyeliner, you could apply it on the upper lash line, just beyond the end of your eye and blend upwards and outwards. A little goes a long way on the bottom, and you don't want to extend it to the corner of your eye (it makes it look smaller.) You can check out some great products and reviews at palacinka.comHow can I apply eye makeup (eye liner and mascara) the right way for my specific eye shape?
I would make a visit to a department store to one of the makeup counters and ask that they show you how to correctly apply eye makeup.
Apply the eyeliner ontop of the actual lashes, giving them a thicker appearence. Here, use an eyelash curler and THEN mascara to even out bottom and top lid. with the botto,,. take a paper towel and wipe off he actual mascara from the brush so it goes on evenly yet lightly without clumps. Another Asian eye make up tips is creating different eye shapes. When applying eye makeup for Asians you can use dark colors to minimize the shape of the eyes and light colors to make them appear larger.
well ever thing combine with you except the black shadow you well be beautiful with out make up or with make up
I have never used an eye liner .So sorry

Brown. First line the top lid with a very thin line of brown eye pencil. Then smudge it so that it doesn't have sharp edges. Then when it is nice and smudged use a brown mascara or a tiny bit of black on the lashes. Only one or two strokes will keep it natural

What kind of eye makeup (eyeliner) matches round almond shaped eyes?
please post a link for a better description :DWhat kind of eye makeup (eyeliner) matches round almond shaped eyes?
Start of ur eyeliner quite thin, and then gradually make it thicker and then do a cat flick. But without the flick also looks good. These looks always suits almond eyes. Heres sum pics 2 show u. http://www.parinda.com/files/storyimages/Bipasha_Basu_no_entry.jpg

it depends on your eye color. in my experience and according to what i've learned in past research, it seems that you should use the color that's on the opposite side of the color wheel. for example, my eyes are green, so i use purple shadow/liner. if your eyes are blue, then golds/browns are good. if your eyes are brown, blues and purples are nice. i'm pretty sure the only time you shouldn't use black eye liner is when you're blonde with fair skin, in which case you would wear brown eyeliner instead.
any?...it doesn't matter what shape your eyes are what matters is if it stays for longs and is water proof and stuff like that and in that case I'd recommend L'oreal's Hip cream eye liner

What's the best type of eye makeup for blonde hair/blue eyes?
I have light blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin and I can never find an eye makeup look that I like. I like my eyes to stand out, but I usually end up looking like a raccoon. Dark gray eyeliner/shadow looks too dark and brown eyeliner smudges. I tried a coppery liner and that didn't look good either... Any suggestions??What's the best type of eye makeup for blonde hair/blue eyes?
I use browns, neutrals, and peaches. I use eye shadow (Maybelline) as liner just get some shadow on the brush and put it on like regular eye liner. I also use Maybelline lash stylist mascara in soft black and start out at the base of lashes and wiggle your way to the tips. Do a couple-few coats. I use Maybelline brown shadow in Chai Latte. What's the best type of eye makeup for blonde hair/blue eyes?
alot of people mistake *standing out* as alot of make up. i only wear mascara and my eyes stand out so much!! Try using some false lashes, put mascara on them too, make sure all lashes are really black. have a look at some of my pictures on bebo : http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?MemberId=19472559%26amp;PhotoAlbumId=8706828405%26amp;PhotoId=8706863597
Eyeliners tend to be a *touch up* thing alllll day, and no one wants to keep on topping it up, so lose the eyeliner.
i use anything victoria secret makeup. and also covergirl and i have blonde hair blue eyes and i use a brown/peach/ and also a light green makes it pop too!
hopes this helps :) good luck!
i say any color just stay away form blue and yellow but Pink would probably go best depending on what Color u r wherein

Pay hundreds of dollars for a personal make-up artist (or better yet a herd of them) to put on overpriced fake lashes and paint your face with a paintbrush... or an airbrush.
What you don't see is that they get touch-ups done periodically during those 10 hours.skin lyrics

What is a good eye makeup remover to use?
I've tried a few, but it seem like it makes my skin irritated (under my eye's) and makes my laugh lines stand out! :(
anything you can recommend?
I usually don't wear waterproof mascara, if it helps! :)What is a good eye makeup remover to use?
Almay makeup remover pads- you can buy at stores all over, these work awesome, they are gentle on your skin and remove all the makeup in one wipeWhat is a good eye makeup remover to use?
Well you are never gonna find an amazing makeup remover unless you buy one that is expensive. All the other cheap ones never work for me so i go all out and just splurge. I recommend clinque' and lancome. Its spendy but works sooo well. Especially for removing eye makeup.
L'Oreal brand Gentle Makeup Remover.
You can find it in most drugstores, and Walmart!
I have sensitive skin, and it has never irritated it. It doesn't even take that much to remove a lot of makeup. Very efficient.
Lancome Eye Make-Up Remover. I've found this really useful, especially when I've had sensitive skin.
pond's eye makeup remover pads.

Is black eyeliner a must when doing eye makeup?
I just want to hear your opinions because some people have told me that you must define the eyes with black eyeliner. However, most of the times I do my eyes I think I can go without. I love colored eyeliners but black I tend to stray away from.
I have a dark brown complexion by the way.Is black eyeliner a must when doing eye makeup?
No, I use colored eyeliner all the time, though black is my favorite, and I rarely go without it. Certain looks look naked without eyeliner, but it's personal preference. There shouldn't be rules when it comes to makeup, except perhaps ';blue eyes shouldn't wear blue eyeshadow.';Is black eyeliner a must when doing eye makeup?
black eyeliner is so yesterday. it does not look natural and very cleopatric unless your looking for a pharoah. colored eyeliner is good. it would make you look young and bubbly. black mascara is enough to define eyes.
I definitely think that black eyeliner helps define and bring out a girls eyes. I just think it makes every girl look pretty. I do think that some colored eyeliners are nice especially since you have a dark brown complexion. If you think black is too dark try a brown liner first and see how you like it. However, if you feel comfortable with out wearing the liner then good.
Depends on your eye color. Almay does this really cool color matching with their make ups and for dark brown eyes, which mine are, purple works best. Go check it out at the store and see if you have that color and it does wonders.
As for black, I'm not sure that looks good at all... if you're going to a very formal even maybe, but I've never been a fan of black.
I have found that it makes your eyes stand out. They are the first thing noticed about you with black eyeliner. I don't see how it could make much difference what your skin color is.
it all depends on your persanal taste i use black eyeliner more but im not afraid to use colour i love blue i have red and i want green and purple
just experiment
=]
i don't like eye liner, and i really don't think it doesn't look good on most people. especially pale little blonde girls with black mascara- no! lol. it's definitely NOT a must have. eye liner makes your eyes look tacky and not natural. the only must have makeups i can think of are tinted moisturizer, great mascara, and a complimenting lip shade.
no, i use brown. i have light, freckled skin and red hair so brown works perfectly for me. i think black just looks too fake on me. i even use a brown/black mascara. it just depends on what you like and what looks good on you.
No you don't have to. Here are some tips for younger women black is ok. But you could just use your eyeshadow that you do your shadowing with and use a little across the top from center to outside of upper lid and then do the whole bottom lid just highlight and blend. works nicely and doesn't bleed or smear. For older women that are starting to show lines don't use black it will make you look older and cause the lines to be dominant. Focus closer to a black/brown or highlight as sugested above. Oh and older women stay away from sparkly eyeshadow it also make you look older. Go for matte eyeshadows.
I think that eye liner does add alot but if you don't feel comfortable wearing it then its you'r choice but I would try it!
um no if you have fair or a tan complection (and have brown hair) then it might be best to use brown only on the top lid because its helpful but not overpowering but it really depends on your style if you like wearing darker eyeshadows then black would look nice but dont put too much sometimes i like to wear a creamy light almost shiny eyeshadow and put some black eyeliner on
I can't stand eyeliner, and using lighter colors on my eye actually makes my lash line appear darker. That said, if someone is blond they should really use brown instead of black. People keep telling me to use eyeliner though, but I think I look even more unnatural with it.
for me it depends if im going out to party yes use black other wise i dont use eyeliner natural look is better use make up to make you look more natural and beautiful as if you didnt have make up on! kinda odd.... use make up to make you look as if you dont have any on!

What's a good website for dramatic eye makeup tips?
I'm trying to find a site that has step by step instructions on how to do dramatic eye makeup. I need a site that has pictures (not drawings) and different styles. Something like the beauty books. What's a good website for dramatic eye makeup tips?
if you have a myspace, search glamorous eyes under groups and you'll get a group called ';glam r us eyes.'; It's an awesome site, tons of pics and stuff. Or you can try ';beh cosmetics'; and that's another good site, loaded with tutorials :)What's a good website for dramatic eye makeup tips?
Youtube has the best tutorials. Just look up ';makeup tutorials';, it's the best!
you can go to the body shop website, they just launched their new product line, and there are some videos to show how to do dramatic eye makeup, i've been browsing through sephora.com as well, under the how-to-videos, or u can go to major cosmetics company website (chanel, guerlain, etc), there are tons of videos there.

What do you think of really wild eye makeup?
Hot pink/glitter eyeliner, blue mascara... the works...
What do you think of it? Okay for parties, or save it for the models? What do you think of really wild eye makeup?
Save it for the models. The most ridiculous thing ever is walking into school and seeing girls with green eyeliner and blue mascara. Dark blue eyeliner is one thing, but I've yet to see anyone that can pull off funky colored eye makeup on a regular day. What do you think of really wild eye makeup?
i think it wud awesum. i mean sum ppl might think it look crazy, but i think it just showes how creative u can get. creativity is wat matters. i mean every girls makeup looks pretty much the same, it needs to be unique! unigue creative ppl stand out in this world. they rock!! :)
I saw a beautiful one in a magazine too her eyes were done like a leopard gorgeous but that would be more for the bright lights of walking down a cat walk or magazine shoot to sell there line of makeup every day wear certainly not but there are times it can be fun.
for instance i too have the sparkly liquid liner black , green gold and silver each in there own tube. But i would wear this more for fun in the evening going out to a party or around xmas time. not for day wear so much.
Blue mascara can look nice if put together nicely with the eye shadow and not so many coats on it then become trashy and vampy looking.
Hot pink again not a day wear thing. maybe a nightclub when your dressing up looking for a wilder look same with the silver glittery shadows and eye liner at that time.
in my opinion, i feel that bright and crazy eye makeup is for the runway mainly to exaggerate the clothes and make them stand out more on the runway. but i also feel that sometimes u can wear wild eye makeup 2 the club. it just depends really where ur going whether 2 wear it crazy or not.
I love it if you can pull it off. I have a friend who can where that anywhere, cuz she dresses really fashionable, but i could never wear it. So if it's a party then go for it. Experiment and have fun with it!
i think its kool. i do some really strange makeup for my friends look here.

I love it all it sounds cool in a sea of ppl looking the same u most def. stand out it kind of sounds how i wear my makeup(not in the summer but mostly in the winter)
I would totally do it for a party. I love makeup and experimenting with different looks. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Just wear what you feel comfortable.
i think it looks really cool, but it depends on what ur wearing it for, like if its a sit-down dinner party that s formal, i wouldnt reccomend it.
whatever makes you happy.
As long as it's done well, I'm all for it. But then again, badly done makeup in any color isn't going to work.
I like it when people have fun with their look and get really expressive. The only thing I would suggest is watching out for what is appropriate to the situatin at hand. Something really serious, like a funeral, probably isn't the time to wear bright yellow eyeshadow with green glitter eyeliner.
I think that it should be for certain occasions for parties for anyone even a model. If you're a model you have to be able to wear anything. Even if you're wearing a birdnest you have to make it look good. Also I think confidence is key too. Even if you're wearing it at the right time. So its ok, at parties.
hello,,the parties, oh yeah, hold out for just the party girls
i think it looks awsome
weeellll...personally...not to hurt your feelings or anything...but i think it makes you look imature and like a little kid...too wild and just...idk....a more blended and sophisticated make-up job would look the best on anyone....not somehting crazy..a nicely quardinated make-up job would make you look older..like...more sophisticated..sorry.. have a great time picking out the right make-up!!!

Do i have to get rid of my old eye makeup if i have pink eye?
I have pink eye right now.. when it goes away do i have to throw away all of my old eye makeup?Do i have to get rid of my old eye makeup if i have pink eye?
Yes, it would be the best thing to do so that you don't re-infect yourself.
I believe technically this would be your mascara and your eyeliner only. But if you have used your eye shadow as a liner, then I would toss that too.Do i have to get rid of my old eye makeup if i have pink eye?
You shold get rid of any make-up that may have used while you were infected. Get rid of anything that you even THINK you may have used because its been contaminated and you will reinfect yourself.
You also need to get rid of your contacts and case (if applicable) if you wore them at all while you were experiencing symptoms.
Yes, all your current eye makeup is history, IF you dont want to re-infect yourself. Sorry :(
only if you don't want to get pink eye again
No! Once the infection clears up completely you can still use the same make up as you did before.
If you've applied the eye makeup since you've been exposed to the pink eye, then yes, you should throw it away to avoid re-infecting yourself with pink eye. Also, throw away any eye makeup applicators or contacts or anything else that has come into contact with your eyes. If you haven't worn the eye makeup since you've had pink eye, then you could keep it. If you're not sure, throw it away - it's better to be safe than sorry.
Yes anything that touched your eye area while you had pink eye should be thrown away.skin lyrics

How hard is it to take off waterproof mascara without eye-makeup remover?
I need some for when i go to the pool so it wouldn't be like wearing it every day. I would just not wear any but my eyelashes are blonde and I don't really like them. How hard is it to take off waterproof mascara without eye-makeup remover?
its soo hard. i hate that stuff. even soap doesnt get the whole thing off. i would buy some eye make up remover..deffinately. lol. or not wear it?? cuz i mean blonde eyelashes arent really that bad! you could have it wayyy worse girl! remember that! lol. :DHow hard is it to take off waterproof mascara without eye-makeup remover?
I use Vaseline to remove my eye make up. it comes off easily
i know mine is very hard
It's pretty hard...It take awhile.....I really recommend you use eye makeup remover (quick and easy) But if you don't have any...use a soft wash cloth and warm water and patience!
yes, obviously water wont take it off. you need either a make-up remover, or soap (i would suggest make-up remover. its gentler).
there are all different kinds. almay makes little pre-soaked pads...they come in a jar. they work really well.
well if you use soap it will come off but it takes a while but that kinda just depends on the quality. if you have good quality you will rub your eyes raw for a while, where the not so good kind will come off with soap. but if it says its water proof it should be water proof and not come off in the pool but it just depends on the brand you get
It's not hard at all.
When you take a shower, use some shampoo, lather it up on your head to wash it, and take some of that lather and gently rub it into your closed eyes.
That will take off the eyemakeup.
You could also try Vaseline or baby oil, and wipe it off with a cotton pad.

black eyeliner is fine . with light shades of brown and beige for eyeshadow . How should you do your eye makeup when you have blonde hair and brown eyes?
Duh! People can be really stupid. Black eye liner looks sooooo adorable with blonde hair. How would it look trashy? Tons of girls with blonde hair wear black eye liner, and i personally think it looks soo cute! NOT trashy. Whoever says that is just jealous. :)
i'm going to have blonde hair soon too! :)

How do i put on eye makeup with my eyes?
I am blonde with fair skin and gray eyes. im not kidding they are gray. I haven't found any eye makeup that looks good besides black eyeliner. Please help i need to find the right color. How do i put on eye makeup with my eyes?
Change your eye color ofcourse...
Wear color contact lens.
Your eye color is perfect for those. How do i put on eye makeup with my eyes?
go with a green, or even a sparkly light blue or light purple ..... with your skin tone black wouldn't be a good pick for you go with a gray or blue
Maybe go to Nordstroms or Mac or some other makeup store, and get one of their people to help you. Believe me, they won't let you go unless you do buy something! So, leave it to the professionals.
I'd say gray (charcoal) eyeliner and dusty pink or brownish purple eyeshadow with black-brown mascara.
contact lenses
I have the same problem. My eyes have a HINT of blue, though. You should try dark green, and navy blue. Okay? ? Good luck, sweetie.
Try smoky colors MAC makes great smoky colors they have a little black or gray in the color itself. Try green or pink even steel blue.
Blue...depending on your shade of grey, just differ the colour and intensity of the blue
green or light purple would look good... black eyeliner is probably a bad idea.. I would try a softer color like gray...
Gray eyes sound pretty! Try plums and purples. Even lighter greens.

Why is it that everytime I wear ANY eye makeup, it makes a huge black smear under my eyes?
People always make fun of me for it. I tried using pencil eyeliner, mascara, gel eyeliner, liquid eyeliner. Is it because of the way my eyes are shaped? Or am I buying crappy brands? I don't want to just quit wearing them. Why is it that everytime I wear ANY eye makeup, it makes a huge black smear under my eyes?
Like everyone has said, use waterproof eyeliner/mascara. And the brand itself could make a huge difference. The cheap drugstore kind can smear easily and does not have long lasting staying power. I've tried everything (because I have had the same problems before) but I started using Lancome's waterproof eyeliner and mascara and I have not had a smudge yet!
I actually cried with my eye makeup on, and it STILL did not smear! I thought I'd look horrible with mascara streaks on my face, but nope...it was still in place!!! That's when I was convinced that buying good quality makeup was worth every penny.
Also, if you have oily skin, that could be a problem. What I do is when I want to put eyeliner on the bottom part of my eye, I use a black eyeshadow (using a very thin brush, of course). You can use that eyeshadow over the eyeliner, or just have the eyeshadow, itself, serve as your eyeliner.
Hope this helped! Good luck! Stay beautiful!
JWhy is it that everytime I wear ANY eye makeup, it makes a huge black smear under my eyes?
same here. go waterproof...its works lots. maybeline, covergirl are very cheap i bet thats wat you use. they are nice tho for a good price
ok, first make sure that all your pencils are sharp because a bunt one will smudge and just put on a thin line. If that doesn't work then i would use natural collection eyeliners. They are really naturally and don't smudge!
Try putting powder where you usually end up with the smudge marks before and after you apply the eyeliner. It works for me.
Either your foundation or skin is too oily, or you need to buy some waterproof eye makeup.
Cheap makeup, that will do it every time....
Maybe you put on too much. Try using a little less and see if that helps. Waterproof make up may help too.
your skin absorbes the makeup therefor causing dark spots under your eyes. it doesnt matter what brand you get, it just a natural thing that your skin does.
It has a lot to do with brand, a better one will probably not do it or try lighter applications on your bottom lashes.
Are you using waterproof products? You could also try putting some foundation around your eyes before applying the makeup, then use some powder to set the area.
all those depend on your eye color. hazel eyes always look best with minimal black eyeliner just on the lid. other eye colors would look best with any color eyeliner and just do it on the top. if u put it on the bottom, you get the smudges. i think it looks weird too.
Try waterproof eye liner. Revlon Colorstay is cheap %26amp; good.
use powder shadow on bottom eyelash instead of eyeliner instead of mascara, it smudges less.
Before applying any eye make-up , put some concealer on whole eye area %26amp; blend . pat with loose powder on the whole eye area and apply more loose powder on the undereye area. The loose powder will catch excess eye shadow/or mascara flakes and you can brush off the excess later.
Here are three ideas of making your undereye makeup less apparent or smudged.
Try using less:
Mascara smudges really easily so try not wearing any mascara on your bottom lashes and if you absolutely have to wear eyeliner beneath your eyes, use less. Play up your eyelids and upper lashes instead.
Change Makeup:
Using liquid liner can help reduce the problem. Although it can be a little more difficult to put on, once it dries it will not smudge like some pencil liners will. Also, water proof mascara might be worth a try even though it's more difficult to wash off at the end of the day.
Brighten your under eyes:
If you want to keep doing your makeup how you do, try taking a drop of liquid concealer and rubbing it beneath your eyes along the bottom eyelid just beneath your line of eyeliner. This will make under your eyes more bright and get rid of any smudges you may have made while applying makeup.
Hope those help!! Good Luck :)
do you cry a lot?
Hi try putting either a little vaseline under your eyes then wipe off vaseline along with the smudges.
Or Dab the smudges with a cotton tip (cotton bud)
Or failing that put eye liner or mascara on first before the eye shadow.
I also have issues with smudging my eye liner, as I use a liquid eye liner. I now do the top lids first then do the lower lids last, I line underneath the bottom lid then do not move for approx 30 seconds to a minute while it dries. The patience has paid off ...........no more smudges!
Good luck :-)

What color of eye makeup should I wear?
I am a white American with fairly dark skin. I have dark brown hair. My eyes are greenish/brown, though they pretty much just look brown unless you are looking closely at them. I'm looking for the right color of eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadows. What color of eye makeup should I wear?
grey, plum, pink, golds, and burnt oranges look good with brown eyes. For a medium to dark skin tone the plum could be used on the lid and into the crease area not really sure wat eyeliner u should use either a dark brown or black but i'm not really good with eyeliner hope i helped!!What color of eye makeup should I wear?
Use Orange, Mauve, or slate on the whole lid and dark-to-light if your using more than one color and blend well
You should try those new eyeshadow/eyeliner combos from Maybelline that help bring out the color of your eyes. For green eyes, they suggest purples, which sound scary but if you use them lightly, they look really pretty.
http://www.glaucarossi.com/images/c-eyes鈥?/a> its a very good site .....
you should wear sheer golds with glitter and browns put some cool colqurs too but warm is definitly you
if you want your eyes to look more green, go with more pink and tan colors. a lighter brown eyeliner, med brown for crease eyeshadow. pink for lid, and shimmery tan for bown.
if you want really brown eyes go with a brown eyeliner and dark brown eyeshadow for the crease, purple for the lid, and a shimmery tan for near the brow.
black eye liner and mascara gotta go originall lol and i would say purple or blue for the eye shadow
It really depends on your skin tone. If you have warm skin tone you should wear makeup to compliment that, and vice versa if you have cool skin tone. Don't try to match your eye color.
black or blue eyeliner black mascera and dark eyeshawdows
Judging by how you say you look, I suggest to use basic black mascara (try maybelline XXL in very black) and eyeliner (fine line of any liquid liner in very black). Use golds, creams, and greens to bring out color in your eyes. if you do dramatic/bold colors (lime green, white, pure gold, lots of anthing) pair with clear coat of lip gloss. If you use more than one color, put lighter on top and darer below it, and be sure to blend well. Hope this helps!
if you want to bring out the green in your eyes (like me!) then wear green eyeliner. for eyeshadow, wear light brown because it looks natural!

What type of eye makeup should i use?
I use unstoppable eyeliner by maybeline and it always starts smuding and stuff and i hate it! what should i use instead? and do you have any eyeliner and mascara tips? i have brown eyes. What type of eye makeup should i use?
Are you talking about liquid eyeliner or pencil? With both of these, buy the best you can afford. Sometimes when cosmetic lines go on sale at dept. stores you can get some really good deals. Try not to use too much eyeliner, and make sure your skin is dry. You could also try using a eyeliner brush and eyeshadow. This usually stays put.
Mascara is a hard one, there are so many types. Look for a wand that has not too many bristles (it won't clump). I like ones that have a primer at one end (white, dries and curls lashes) and a colour on the other end. Use brown-black or brown with brown eyes. Navy blue looks great too (you'd be surprised).
Good luck. Another hint is to buy makeup from a store that will let you rerturn it (Rite-Aid I think?)
What type of eye makeup should i use?
I've been doing my make up for some years now. So I had to do a trial and error LOL! But I found that if you use a liquid eye liner for the top of the eye lid it goes on easier and it doesn't smudge. Then use a pencil for the bottom I wouldn't suggest using liquid for the bottom. And all eye liners are pretty much the same so pick any name brand or off brand liner. If your eyes are brown I find that black always make the eye color pop out! :)
Loreal Eyeliner.
Almay Intense i-color in black pearl is great!

I want my blue eyes to pop!
I have light-olive skin, blue eyes, which are fairly small. How do I play that up? are there any websites with photos and/or how-to's?
Thanks. How do I acheive the best eye makeup for my type?
ok, there is a great eye compact from almay:bring-out-powder-shadow for blue eyes. its a trio of eyeshadow in light blue, dark blue, and dark brown. there cordinated especialy for blue eyes, but they also have compacts for all other eye colors. u should use brown eyliner w/ it and brown/black mascara. How do I acheive the best eye makeup for my type?
well if i where you i would start off with a light pink then add a white glitter and the red lip stick the a light pink blush
I read in a magazine that wearing shimmery light colors will play up blue eyes. Hope this helps!

What can I do with my eye makeup that will look OK with glasses?
I have blue eyes, blond hair and glasses. I can't wear contacts because they irritate my eyes too much. Is there any way I can wear eye make up without looking ridiculous? What can I do with my eye makeup that will look OK with glasses?

You should be happy because people who wear glasses can play up their eye make-up even more!
Avoid lenghtening mascaras, they tend to make your eyelashes hit your lenses. You can wear pretty much any color you want. I have worn glasses for many years and have not found that they magnify my eyes at all. If anything, they allow me to wear much more bold colors and eyeliner looks. Just experiment, it's half the fun of wearing eye makeup!
I just wear eye shadow. Stay away from mascara because if your eyelashes touch your glasses lens your glasses will get dirty.
i wear heavy eyemakeup as it is, and if my eyes were going to be covered by glasses, i'd probably lay it on even thicker. blue eyes look good with contrasting colors, i'd go with browns or blacks, lots of eyeliner and mascara. ;]]]
I used to have glasses and I learned this eyeliner trick from a friend who also wore glasses and it looked really good. I also have blue eyes. What you do is: pull your bottom eyelid down a little so you can see the little line of skin behind your bottom eyelashes. I know it seems like this would irritate your eyes but it doesn't. Take some black (preferably) eyeliner and basically color in the little line. From corner to corner or, to start out, half your eye to the outside corner. It looks really cool and not like you have a whole lot of makeup on. Then maybe add a little mascara and some beige or tan eyeshadow to make your eyes pop a little more. It works I promise, I know from experience. Hope this helps!
If you're short-sighted, your eyes look smaller under the glasses so you should put light colours on your eyes and they will look bigger. If you're far-sighted, your eyes look bigger under the glasses so you should make them smaller and you can do that by using dark eyeshadows.
hm... well when i wear glasses i wear silver eyeshadow and black eyeliner and it looks great... but i have hazel eyes. it really shouldn't matter though cuz silver looks pretty good on almost everyone
Just remember when you are putting your makeup on that your eyes are going to be magnafied due to your glasses, tone down the colours you wear, and don't go to heavy on mascara and eyeliner as they are magnified when you have your specs on.
Good luck!
try some nicee eye shadow colors like pink and purpl and green that will look good with your eyes
Before I got contacts and wore glasses, my eye make-up was almost invisible underneath my glasses unless I put so much on that I looked cheap. I think it really depends on what color your glasses are to what extend you should wear eye make-up. I'm very sorry that you cant wear contacts but just keep your head up and try out different looks with your glasses
yeah their is you can put makeup on and then put on your glasses i have glasses too just dont put to much on then you will look a hot mess or go all natural your skin is beautiful and you dont need makeup just put on blush and a little lip gloss you dont need much to to look good

How can I play up my eye makeup?
Hey I have Grey bluish eyes. And I want a pretty make up style that will make stand out. But I don't want to look trashy either. If you could tell me a few ways it would be highly appreciated. Thanks. How can I play up my eye makeup?
I have the same color eyes. Usually, I line the bottom with black eyeliner, and smudge some on the top lid. Then I put a purplish eyeshadow. Black mascara. Perfect smokey eye. It brings them out great, people ask me to do their make up all the time. How can I play up my eye makeup?
first off, this is what i do, i will experiment with a bunch of stuff right before i am gonna take a shower (so that you can wash it off). then you could try http://www.covergirl.com for some color choices for your eyes.
only use dark eyeliner, and dark mascara...i think blue mascara is icky, i also think bronze and brown colors look good with blue eyes. wear the darker color closer to ur eyelids then the lighter color, obviously. : )
use black eyeliner %26amp; mascarra
soft pencil liner (brown)
lengthening mascara (brown)
Blue shades enhance your eye color鈥攂rowns make it pop!
put hte brown on your lid
a light blue or dark in your crease!
your set to go:)
use black eyeliner and some mascara. ( u dont need a lot.) try covergirl eyeliner and maybelline mascara. good luck!
ok, if it is like a night party than purple. if its in the day peaches and all that
