What kind of eye makeup should I use?

I have very dark brown eyes. You cant even see them they kind of look black. And so I was wondering what kind of eye makeup would help my eyes stand out. I want to try putting eyeliner on the top lids to. Anyone know how to do that?What kind of eye makeup should I use?

I like to use Gorgeous Gold on the Lid, Paradisco in the crease, and a cream colored below the brow. (names of the colors are from MAC cosmetics, but if you cant afford them. look up the color and find something similar)


Lining the top of your lid mostly takes practice. Best to start toward the inner corner of your eye and work your way out to the outer corner.What kind of eye makeup should I use?
ok I have very dark eyes as well, the key is to try eye shadow that brings out the color in your eyes, even though they are very dark. For example use a lavender and a dark brown of grey only on the top of your eyes and it brings out the brown A lot!! try using some of the loreal hip colors, I use them and my eyes look almost honey colored sometimes! just remember don't put eyeliner on the bottom or if you do make sure it's a light shade like grey or saphire. Use lots of mascara and use greys, purples, dark blues, etc. Good luck!
I have eyes like yours! Black goes with everything right? Is it any different with your eyes? I usually put on whatever color matches my outfit.





As for the eyeliner thing, look it up on wikihow or something, cuz I only wear eyeliner on the bottom (i have really big eyelashes so I rly don't need it.)

A black eyeliner on your top lid would only make them look a little darker, so I would use a dark brown. Liquid works best, because most pencil smears too much. Wet N Wild is a good brand of liquid eyeliner. It's what I use.





As for shadows and such, I can't advise much because I don't know your skin tone. Lighter shades are for the better, to brighten them up, otherwise simple glitter will draw enough attention.

I saw that Almay has a new eye makeup combination specifically for each eye color. Maybe you should check into that. For the top lids, buy some liquid eyeliner, then pull at the corner of your eye so it almost shuts, and then with the other hand apply the liquid eyeliner to the top lid.

I've only used the one for green eyes, but I'm sure brown is fabulous too.
i heard gold for your eyes are popular this month. i was reading in seventeen. purple is also cute. i would go for gold though. it looks nice and stands out. that includes purple. but pink is cute. why don't you experiment? :]
mac. It's the best. Go to any department store like nordstroms or macy's and they will do a free make over and show you how to use their products. They are the best products and stay on all day without fading like other products.
i think green would probably bring it out.
