What is a good way to apply eye makeup when you wear glasses?

I have tan skin dark hair and golden brown eyes. They are a little close set. My frames are rectangular and black. I love wearing eyemakeup but I find that my frames tend to hide the makeup.What is a good way to apply eye makeup when you wear glasses?
I also wear glasses and at times contacts. Make sure you curl your lashes don't matter what eye shadow you apply on just make sure to go dark super dark on your eye liner and curl lashes before applying mascara. Dark eye liner on makes your eyes pop/stand out and so will the mascara more.What is a good way to apply eye makeup when you wear glasses?
