How do I make my eyes stand out at work with eye makeup?

I love eye makeup. I always just put my black eyeliner on my upper lid and halfway on my lower to make them look bigger. I always put mascara on my outter corners of my eyes since my eyes are small. I want something different for work. I want something really EXCITING, but not overdone. My eyeliner runs, what can I do to prevent that also?How do I make my eyes stand out at work with eye makeup?

what color eyes do you have because they have this really cute eye shadow trio thing and it makes your eyes look AMAZING!! i think its made by covergirl or almay im not really sure but they have it at target.





its also fun to wear colored eyeliner :]

And wear waterproof eyeliner...?
I know its old school but I still use the pencil it works the best and oddly enough the cheaper ones glide on better and they don't run. I've tried putting white on the bottom inner lid and it kinda makes them stand out more cause they look bigger. Shading is the best way to make them stand out going from light by the brow and dark by the crease and light by the lashes so you can see how long your eyelashes are. I have gotten tons of complements on my eyes and girls asking me to make there eyes up for them. I hope this is helpful.

eye shadow or maybe a good smokey eye. is your eyeliner liquid or a stick? is it a cheap brand? maybe you put on too much in one spot.
for the eye liner issue, get water proof or smude proof. i recomend revlon 12 hour water/smudge prrof in black!! use an eye lash curler and water proof mascara....use a dark eye shado on ur eye lid close 2 th elashes instead of eye liner with a lighter shdae on top, goin all th way 2 ur eye brows! it will make ur eyes look huge!! on the bottom put the eye liner under the lashes going half way
make sure you use a lotion on your face. not one that makes your skin oily but a natural lotion. try to put foundation on your lids and beneath your eyes it will help the eyeliner stay in place. try to blend different shades of colors like silver to black or a gold shade different shades of gold. use the lightest color in the inner eye and darkest at the end. sometimes i use one shade and apply it on the bottom of my eyes to make my eyes stand out more and make it seem more sparkly and then apply my eyeliner and mascara. see if it works on you. good luck =]

use a shimmery white eye shadow from the teardrops of your eyes to a little less than halfway on the bottom of your eye. it reaaallly works!! and it somehow makes you look happy...


and with the runny eyeliner try putting eyeshadow thats the same color over the eyeliner! it worked for me!
the running eyeliner I don't know, but I know what you can do with the other thing. try a nice color of eyeshadow with what you already do.
