I use a Collection 2000 mascara called Eye Me Up which is pretty good. It separates your lashes out well too.

Try brown hues for eyeshadow. I personally love Lash Power by Clinique.
LashBlast mascara works well for me. It's in an orange tube. :)

What is the best way to use vasaline to remove eye makeup?
I heard vasaline (petroleum jelly) works great when removing eye makeup. I feel like if I try this I will have a big greasy eye. How do I use vasaline for this? What is the best way to use vasaline to remove eye makeup?
I've been using vaseline for over 35 years to remove my eye makeup. It works great and costs next to nothing. I use a facial tissue like Kleenex, dip it in the vaseline (careful not to touch the vaseline with my hands), and rub it all over my eyes. I follow up with a wet wash cloth to get the remainder off and take away the shine. It works great and that is what my mother used also. It is tried and true. Just make sure your hands are always clean and don't touch the inside of the jar of vaseline. It can easily grow bacteria like a petrie dish. What is the best way to use vasaline to remove eye makeup?
I'm a cosmetologist and baby oil is the safest way.
Dab some vaseline on a ball of cotton wool and wipe it around your eyes. Wash with facial cleanser and water afterwards to ensure the complete removal of the make-up.
i wouldn't use Vaseline it clogs your pores.. use your facial cleanser. a good inexpensive brand is IS clinical you don't need a toner because it doesn't change the pH of your skin and its very mild...
No, just go to walmart and purchase some makeup remover. Much simpler!
baby sope and water works fine why use weird sh*t?
Well, most eye make up removers in drugstores work too and cost less than the name brand ones. If you do use Vasaline, you have to use a Q-tip and sponge it off. After its removed you need to wash your face with an oil free cleanser 2 times to get rid of the Vasaline or it will make your skin really oily and gross.
use it wisely
I would recommend eye make up remover. I used vaseline once and because it was so heavy and greasy, I had this film over my pupils that made everything hazy for awhile. Not good. I've never had that problem with eye makeup remover.
Fill a cake decorater tool with Vasoline and blow it all over your eyes, then wipe it on your favorite white shirt.
take a ear cleaner thingy and swipe a little from the vaseline jar, and put it on the areas with make-up. After wards, rinse ur face of with some warm water.

What color eye makeup compliments blue eyes?
I really want my eyes to look beautiful. What color makeup will make my blue eyes stand out? What color eye makeup compliments blue eyes?
Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shineWhat color eye makeup compliments blue eyes?
It depends on your skin tone.
Yellow in general as a color looks like crap on my pale/color lacking skin tone so copper/orangey/brownish shades make me look sickly.
I have light blue eyes-
Use either peachy/sparkly nude or an eggplant purplish color
I line with black on the outer top and bottom of my eye w/ a light black pencil
Then I use white eyeliner and line under my eye and wipe - it leaves a highlighter look and also use white eye liner on the top of my eye (I use the black more in between my lashes and the white more as traditional eyeliner). It ends up looking really great.
Use a cream shadow up to your brow line, then a cooler blue tone on your lid with a golden brown in the crease. Blend the brown into the blue so it's not overwhelming.
Also, brown liners and mascara look great with blue eyes, and if you don't wanna bother with shadow, just use a really dark blue liner (REALLY dark) and the Covergirl Eyelights mascara for blue eyes.
And remember that your eyes pick up colors from the things around them, so wearing blue clothes will really make them pop.
More blue. Try CoverGirl's EyeLights mascara - it's navy blue. It didn't work to well for me because I have dark blue eyes, but maybe it'll work for you. You could also try turquoise or dark, dark black, especially if you have lighter blue eyes.
copper/bronzey colors make blue eyes stand out.
basic color theory, if you want to draw attention to blue go with orange/copper, just like if you want green eyes to appear more green use purple/plum
Anything light or that goes with ur skin tone. I'm sure light colours would work like a light green or teal... something like that. But if you want to go natural i'd ask a lady whose an expert in that department. I really hope this works.

How common is it to have an allergic reaction to eye makeup?
I'm going to buy higher end makeup but i am afraid of having an allergic reaction. I have never had an allergic reaction and i have used maybelline, rimmel, covergirl, and other cheaper brands. How common is it to have an allergic reaction to eye makeup?
it is more common than you think. after years in cosmetics, i have met many women who have allergic reactions to shadows and other eye makeup. it is true that the cheaper brands tend to be more irritating, but it is a few particular ingredients that cause problems. bismuth and mica are two ingredients that cause reactions, and they are often found in mineral makeup. also, shadows and liners with a red base (pinks, browns, purples) can be very harsh. something about the red dyes causes extreme irritation. to avoid this problem, stick to colors with a blue base (grey, green, blue) or make sure you can return items that irritate you.How common is it to have an allergic reaction to eye makeup?
it's common to get an allergic reaction to eye makeup but it shouldnt matter if its a cheap brand or an expensive brand and it might not even be an allergic reaction to the make up.It might be from keeping it for too long, anything longer than a week or two is too long to hold on to make up!
It's not common with the high-end stuff, because they use higher quality ingredients. It does happen, however. If you have used the lowest of the low end and haven't had a reaction, you should be fine.
Read the ingredients! Most makeup companies use bismuth oxychloride in their products, even in their eyeshadow. It causes a lot of ppl to itch and causes redness and swelling.
I use LA Minerals eyeshadows cuz they are bismuth free!
not common just remove it before going to sleep and Fda must approve all cosmetics before they go on market
It may be something in the make up your allergic to you should have blood tested for allergies and notify a doctor.
You shouldn't have a reaction. Maybe, call your Dr. and ask if they know of people having any allergic reactions? I personally would say, go for the little more expensive type.
So what are you worried about. ? IF you have used other brands then you will be fine.
you'll be fine
more expensive makeup is not more likely to give you problems
i dont think you'll get a reaction bc if you've been using those kinds then im sure you'll be fine.

Line bottom inside lid with green eye liner-this will bring out the flecks of green. Under lower lashes, use brown or grey eye shadow (MAC is the best) and trace your lower lashes. Do the same with upper lashes in this brown color. Wanna make them smoky-Blend, blend, blend. You want the brown or color to look like smoke.

Can I pull off dark black eye makeup and dark lipstick during the day?
I can pull off almost any makeup or clothes, so this isn't much of a stretch, all my friends think it looks good. . .Comments? Can I pull off dark black eye makeup and dark lipstick during the day?
it doesn't matter when you wear it and who thinks it looks good, as long as you like it it's all that matters. Can I pull off dark black eye makeup and dark lipstick during the day?
Please don't! Use make up remover instead of pulling it off, you could have an injury eg gouging out your eye. As for lips you'll have no skin left. And anyway why not pull it off or use make-up remover at night. Do you have some sort of random urge to remove it in the day.
Are you trying for a harsh/goth or emo look? It all depends on what you want to portray, where you'll be going and what you're wearing.(And of course your own personal style.)
yes but not at the same time. i think you should go for Dark eye make up then a light lipstick or just clear lipgloss OR dark lipstick with just thick mascara . both is just too much for day time.
yeah.. plz dont use black eyeliner...wayyy tooo harsh. try dark brown.
and when u say dark lipstick..i hope u dont mean black. if so then i would say no..if not.. go for it =)

What sort of eye makeup would look best with my aqua dress?
The dress is a vivid aqua color and is strapless with a jewel design just under the bust. I'm definitely thinking some sort of makeup that involves silver, because the dress is so light and happy that a dark smoky eye just wouldn't do it justice. pictures of ideas would be very much appreciated! What sort of eye makeup would look best with my aqua dress?

What kind of eye makeup should I wear and how do I wear it?
I have dark brown hair and eyes, pale skin, and only a very little bit of eye lid (below the crease) shows when my eyes are open and I'm looking straight ahead. I have long, but thin eyelashes. I usually wear brown eye shadow over the entire lid, heavier below the crease and lighter above, black liner pencil (which I think looks to harsh), and black mascara. I don't wear more than one shade of eye shadow because it doesn't seem like you'd be able to tell much when my eyes are open. What kind of eye makeup should I wear and how do I wear it?
I've got brown eyes too, here is what I have found - violets and plums, and browns and tan colors also compliment brown eyes well.
I love i-mark eye shadows from mark. They have a real deep purple color called Plum Velvet that is really popular. Also, biscotti which is a light beige, that is perfect for everyone. The best part is you can experiment and have fun, because they are really affordable. They are $4 each and you can purchase the snap to it pallette in various sizes to hold the eyeshadows.
I've never worn eyeliner until about last week when I tried mark. liquid eyeliner Metalliner hookup in Bronze Edge. I'd suggest a brown eyeliner and even brown eye shadow. I love mark.'s MAKE IT BIG mascara in Espresso.

How to combine 3 eyeshadows for eye makeup?
I have a pallette with 3 eyeshadows. A light blue, a brown (close to dark but not quite dark) and a color which is something like a very very light brown, in fact closer to white, but more like skin color.
How do I combine these to create 1 eye makeup? Ideas please! How to combine 3 eyeshadows for eye makeup?
Sweep the light blue almost up to your brow bone, put the light brown near your tear duct and on your browbone and the dark brown in your crease. Blend well :)How to combine 3 eyeshadows for eye makeup?
Try putting the light blue color on the base of your eye, up to the crease. Then put the white/ skin tone color on from the crease up to the brow line. Blend in the brown from the outer end, in. but only take it up about half way, (not all the way to the brow).
Refer to the link, the green in that picture should be your light blue, the orange color should be white and the dark color on the end.
Put the light brown all over your whole lid. Put the blue in the outer corner, and the dark brown in the crease. Make sure to blend!!
use the light blue on the lid, blend the brown from the outer corner 3/4 into your crease, and use the whitish shade for highlighting right under your highest point in you eyebrow arch
put the light brown on your brow bone (under your eye brow.)
put the light blue on your whole lid
and then put the dark brown in your crease.
Use the medium brown on you lid, then highlight up to your brows with the light brown. Then use the light blue as a powder eyeliner. Hope this helps!
use the lightest shade over your entire lid..then use the darkest brown in the crease and blend it..the sweep the light blue on your eyelid..
Oh thats Pretty
Put the blue on the balll of your eye and each color of brown on the ends of each ball
If you are combining it on your eyes, you're going to be needing a blending brush.skin lyrics

How can my eye makeup stand out when I have glasses?
I have glasses (ugh) and (when Im aloud) I might want to wear eye makeup. How do I make it stand out so people can actually tell? How can my eye makeup stand out when I have glasses?
the best way to define your eyes is to use a lot of eyeliner. It is hard to see shadow if you have glasses that are dark.. I have glasses and i love to do a cat eye with them. How can my eye makeup stand out when I have glasses?
Wear eyeshadow instead of just a single thin line of liner. That way, you cover more area on your eyelid and it'll be more noticeable despite the glasses. You can also wear liner with the eyeshadow to define your eyes more. Just experiment with a few colors and techniques and see what works for you. Only thing I would say is to be careful that you don't overdo the eyeshadow. Just enough to have a nice even sweep of color over your eyelids, don't try to wear it up to your eyebrows or anything like that. Unless it's a fairly nude color that you wanna use as a highlighter to your brows.
Easy. Vibrant eyeshadow, glitter, or lots of eyeliner. Keep mascara to a minimum as they might touch you eyeglasses and that can be distracting while you're at school.
You can also try getting those eye make up kits for your eye colour. Almay Intense-i-colour is a good one. I love it because it actually works.
To make a smoky eye, you should use a very thin brush and put the black along your lash line. Gently sweep dark-to-medium grey or silver up from the line through your crease. Then sweep light silver across your upper lid. Sweep white across the brow bone(right under your eyebrows) to create definition.
For a twist on the classic smoky eye, but to still have a smoky look, use the thin brush and use black in your crease. Then use the dark silvery grey over your lower lid. Sweep the light silver over the upper and use the white as mentioned above. This is what I like to call smoky with an edge. To add even more pizazz, use a color that you're wearing that day and sweep it over the silver on your lower lid. If its a darker color, use a smaller amount of black in the crease and put the dark color in the crease along with the black.
:D Try it, it really makes eyes Pop!!
you can get contacts! if thats not an option yet, you should try using an eye shadow primer. I get mine from Sephora, you're suppose to put in on your eyes before applying eye shadow and it really helps the color stand out!! Even if you wear glasses, you're eyes will look beautiful!!! Also use mascara, liquid eye liner and under eye liner. All these things combined will certainly help your eyes stand out! Trust me, people will able to tell!
Good luck girl! =)
Hon, I wear glasses too (I also wear contacts), and they aren't unattractive at all. And, they make your eyes already stand out in a different way. You don't need to wear tons of eye liner for people to notice your eyes from behind your specs. Just wear an average ammount, not too excessive.
However, if you use darker colored eye shadows, that's a good way to stand out. Dark browns are really exceptional, but some deep purples and reds aren't bad. Don't go overboard though!
I myself, don't wear any makeup, glasses or no. Many people compliment my eyes regardless.
Confidence is key! ;D
use a pencil eyeliner in a smokey shade(mink or black/brown) smudged from the outer upper corner of ur lid into a smaller line to the inside of your eye..and a shimmery white shadow from lid to brow...also ALWAYS use black mascara to make ur lashes appear fuller and longer

don't go overboard, it makes you look like you're trying so hard and i personally dont like that caked-on look. Anyways. a shimmery eyeshadow, liner, and mascara would look great.

What kind of eye makeup should I use?
I have very dark brown eyes. You cant even see them they kind of look black. And so I was wondering what kind of eye makeup would help my eyes stand out. I want to try putting eyeliner on the top lids to. Anyone know how to do that? What kind of eye makeup should I use?
I have VERY dark brown eyes.
I like to use Gorgeous Gold on the Lid, Paradisco in the crease, and a cream colored below the brow. (names of the colors are from MAC cosmetics, but if you cant afford them. look up the color and find something similar)
Lining the top of your lid mostly takes practice. Best to start toward the inner corner of your eye and work your way out to the outer corner. What kind of eye makeup should I use?
ok I have very dark eyes as well, the key is to try eye shadow that brings out the color in your eyes, even though they are very dark. For example use a lavender and a dark brown of grey only on the top of your eyes and it brings out the brown A lot!! try using some of the loreal hip colors, I use them and my eyes look almost honey colored sometimes! just remember don't put eyeliner on the bottom or if you do make sure it's a light shade like grey or saphire. Use lots of mascara and use greys, purples, dark blues, etc. Good luck!
I have eyes like yours! Black goes with everything right? Is it any different with your eyes? I usually put on whatever color matches my outfit.
As for the eyeliner thing, look it up on wikihow or something, cuz I only wear eyeliner on the bottom (i have really big eyelashes so I rly don't need it.)
good luck!
A black eyeliner on your top lid would only make them look a little darker, so I would use a dark brown. Liquid works best, because most pencil smears too much. Wet N Wild is a good brand of liquid eyeliner. It's what I use.
As for shadows and such, I can't advise much because I don't know your skin tone. Lighter shades are for the better, to brighten them up, otherwise simple glitter will draw enough attention.
Hope I helped.
I saw that Almay has a new eye makeup combination specifically for each eye color. Maybe you should check into that. For the top lids, buy some liquid eyeliner, then pull at the corner of your eye so it almost shuts, and then with the other hand apply the liquid eyeliner to the top lid.
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow %26amp; Liner- Brown Eyes
I've only used the one for green eyes, but I'm sure brown is fabulous too.
i heard gold for your eyes are popular this month. i was reading in seventeen. purple is also cute. i would go for gold though. it looks nice and stands out. that includes purple. but pink is cute. why don't you experiment? :]
mac. It's the best. Go to any department store like nordstroms or macy's and they will do a free make over and show you how to use their products. They are the best products and stay on all day without fading like other products.
i think green would probably bring it out.
or maybe a gold or blue even.

How do I avoid having smudged eye makeup at the end of the day?
I have very oily skin. Eye makeup, expecially mascara and eyeliner always gets smudged after a few hours of wearing. It still happens even with the waterproof ones. I live in Malaysia and it is really hot and humid out here and i think the weather and my skin type is making my eyemakeup melt. What type of eyemakeup do you recommend and how do I apply it so that it stays where it should throughout the day?How do I avoid having smudged eye makeup at the end of the day?
Loose powder is the key to keeping makeup on all day. Make sure you wash your face just before applying your makeup.
With a large, soft makeup brush apply the loose powder all over your face, including your eyelids. Apply makeup and lightly brush powder again to set the makup.
Stick with powdered eyeshadows as opposed to the creams. A great trick to keep eyeshadow on is to use a damp eyeshadow brush and apply a layer of face powder to your lids and allow to dry/set, the shadow will stay in place for the day and it only takes a few seconds longer but well worth it.
They also make a primer for eyes. It acts as a barrier between your skin and the cosmetic. Makeup normally seeps into your pores throughout the day and this primer gives the liner/makeup something to hold onto instead of melting away. A liquid liner applied with a fine brush will stay on the best.
Liquid eyeliner should only be used above the top lashes. It is best to use a pencil or eyeshadow under the lower lashes. You can also use a colored kohl pencil above and below lashes and follow with a black liquid liner on the top. It will make your lashes appear darker and will stay on all day. Eyeliner should be applied very close to the base of the eyelashes.
You need to use SMUDGEPROOF (not waterproof) mascara. I use Lancome's Fatale mascara. It is FABULOUS! It's about $22 but so worth it. You only need to apply one coat, it doesn't melt and stays on all day. Another alternative is a clear mascara. You will still get the long, lush lashes but without the color..there is nothing to give you ';black raccoon eyes'; during the day.
For your lips try lip glosses or tints, which are quite sticky and won't even threaten to run. Today's glosses aren't just a shiny mess unless you buy the cheap, oozing kind.
Buy some makeup blotters too. They aren't just for lipstick. Throughout the day when you feel your face becoming oily, just take out a blotter and dab it lightly on your face to soak up the excess oils to keep your face looking fresh. How do I avoid having smudged eye makeup at the end of the day?
Before you apply you makeup, cleanse your skin thoroughly. When it's put on, don't touch your face--to avoid smudging. But since the weather is that incooperative, maybe you should go with the natural look.
I recommend liquid eyeliner. apply it just like a pencil, just make sure that you paint the line as close to the lashline as possible so that you don't see skin between the lash line and the eyeliner. That's the worst. It takes a little practice but after you get it it's a breeze.
I hope this helps.
use liquid eyeliner..
i just started using it this week and its the best thing ever
invented.. it stays hard on your eye. for the bottom, put it
on, but let it dry before you let go of the skin.. about 10 seconds
this should help; =]
around lunch time clean it off and putt new makeup on then it won't melt off and look so bad
well you dont have to change ur makeup just bye a spray for makeup which can stay on all day even with ur beautiful skin. the spray can be found at makeup stores ormakeup isles at shops. GOOD LUCK!!
For an eyeshadow, use more of a powder substance. Before you apply your eyeshadow you should put a base coat of loose powder over your lid to help lock in the shadow, eyeliner, and everything else.
Get some type of cream that make your make-up stick to your face and it wont do whatever it does a the end of the day!
In the morning, after your wash your face, before you put on any skin care product and your make up. Use ice towel (soak your towel with ice cube and water) to cover your face for couple mins, especially around your T-zone. This step will close your pores and control the grease. and you can repeat this steps after you put your skin care before the make up.
And pad on a lot of toner if your have really oily skin, you should use gel, or liquid moisture instead of lotion. These two steps will help your pore gets enough water so that your skin won't produce unwanted grease to try product your skin. Don't put on another layer of product before the skin absorbs it. Repeat step one if you have extremely oily skin. Then you can put on your make up.
If you wanna skip step one, I would use some tissue or oily blotting paper to press (not rub, or wipe, just gently press) on my face and eye area one more time just to take away some unabsorbed skin care.
Now to the eye makeup
After you put on eyeliner, use swab to sweep your eyelashes back and forth and put on some loose powder around your eye area, than use an angle brush to trace your eye lines again, and this is going to make your eyeliner very soft and nature and more waterproof.
For mascara, I know no matter how much water proof they are, they all always get smudged at the end of the day. I recommend any L'Oreal's waterproof mascara, they can at least last for up to 5 hours, and if you have to wear it all day, and there is this '; Top Coat'; mascara, (it's a blue tube and from Shishedo, but you can only find it in the drug store like Watson's, do you have watson's in Malaysia, HK and Taiwan does) and that is a waterproof coat you can put on after regular mascara.
But again, no matter how waterproof they are, in a humid weather like SE Asia, nothing can last all day, you should always carry some swabs with you, and try to clean your dark circle whenever you use restroom...that's how I do it, but the steps that I told you really work...coz' I'm from Taiwan.
Sorry about long answer, but good luck

What colors of eye makeup would look good on me?
I'm asking this question for Homecoming, which I will be wearing a black dress for. I have brown hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin.
Thanks in advance =]What colors of eye makeup would look good on me?
bronze or browns mabey purples? you can get eye intense stuff from almay thats suspose to match your eye color to help your eyes stand out i have the one for green eyes and i liek it
http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyesl…
you can but it most anywhere liek walmart etc. What colors of eye makeup would look good on me?
I think that eyes are the most expressive feature on your body, which is why you always want to make them stand out. The problem that a lot of girls have is that while they make their eyes stand out, you can tell that they wear make-up. Make-up was made to enhance and perfect features, not completely change them.
So, the first thing you need is a good base coat. What I mean by this is that if you have any blemishes over your eyes, cover those up with a good concealer that matches your skin tone. Then, put either foundation, powder, mousse, or a combination of it all over your face, including your eyelids. Make sure to get all the way to the edge of your upper and lower lids so that your skin doesn't look discolored.
Then, swipe a light coat of white shadow to the crease of your upper lid. Blend it with your base coat. Also bring your shadow brush under your lower lashes and blend. The purpose of the white is to make your eyes pop. If you get some powder on your lashes, leave it because it will make mascara stick better.
Put some bronze shadow over the white on your upper lid and blend. Instead of just blending on your upper lid, blend over the white on the lower one, too. This will make your eyes sort of ';glow';.
Next, draw in a thick line of either black eye liner or dark brown for a special effect (try it out before the dance to see what one you like more) .
To finish off the look, swipe some either lengthening or volumizing mascara over your lashes. Tada!!
bronze/purple as mentioned before. the smokey eye would go with the dress. create smokey eye by adding a darking shade in the crease and on the outer lid, and adding a dark grey shade on the bottom of your eye
Greens look really good with brown hair and brown eyes!! I have brown hair and brown eyes and have tried every color and green seems to be the only color that really looks good! Hope I helped. Have a great day!!!
just do a classic smokey eye-it will highlight your eyes, make your dress look fab and show off your fair skin tone!
Bronze makeup
i think either a light pink or a light brown and mix some white with it tho :]

How often should eye makeup be replaced?
I don't wear makeup very often, and I noticed the last time I did that my eyes were itchy and bloodshot for days afterward. I've heard that eye shadow can get moldy so I'm wondering how long it lasts. How often should eye makeup be replaced?
Yes, like the person on top of me said
its like a little open jar that will say 5m 6m 7m 8m
which means you have to replace that product with in 6 months or whatever
Its really important for eye makeup
you should change your mascara every 3 months
just like with tooth brushes and everythingHow often should eye makeup be replaced?
oh thats just because you havent worn make up that much that why it going to get swolen but its ok if you put more makeup on that is going to stop just try to whare more make up oh and that only last for a few days like 2 or something but not more that just maximum
You need to check the life of it by looking at the label, it should have a picture that looks like an open jar and next to it 6m or 12m etc, that means 6 months life or 12 months life.
Byeeskin lyrics
Yes, like the person on top of me said
its like a little open jar that will say 5m 6m 7m 8m
which means you have to replace that product with in 6 months or whatever
Its really important for eye makeup
you should change your mascara every 3 months
just like with tooth brushes and everythingHow often should eye makeup be replaced?

How can my eye makeup work with my face?
I have dirty blonde hair with some unnatural warmth (hair dye) and fair/medium cool skin. I'm frustrated because my makeup always seems at a disconnect with my green eyes.
I want them to look clear and not smudged or runny, but black eyeliner always seems to ring my eyes (even if I put it at the outer corners only) and not blend in. Should I put it on the waterline or below the lashline? How can I make it look natural as possible? How can my eye makeup work with my face?
I would use the eye liner to line the top of your eyes. and use some gold or bronze eye shadow to give a more a natural look

What eye makeup should blue eyed people wear?
I have dark chocolate brown hair and usually I wear a thin line of black eyeliner on my bottom lid and I sometimes mix up the eyeshadow. What would look good for a normal daily routine and then what would look good if I had somewhere more formal to go to such as a wedding? Thanks for all your help! What eye makeup should blue eyed people wear?
Brown %26amp; navy blue are good colors for making your blue eyes pop. Instead of black eyeliner, try brown or navy blue (the blue will make your eyes look bluer %26amp; the whites brighter).
Don't go overboard with eyeshadow--try putting vanilla colored shadow in the inner corners and along the upper corners near the end of your brow. Good Luck! What eye makeup should blue eyed people wear?
I also have blue eyes and light brown hair..I use neutrals in
the day and blues and purples in the evening also try mixing up your liner with browns it will really make your eyes pop!
Using brown or black will make your eyes stand out a lot
ooh!!! how about some light blue eyeshadow, blue or black eyeliner, and black mascara?!!!!! that sounds good to me!
For eyeliner, you should take the color of the outermost color of the iris of your eye (this goes for anyone). For eyeshadow, take the contrasting color. For example, light oranges, browns, tan, etc. (for you).
Hope this helps!
Warm tones. Brown will make your eyes look more blue.
A DARKER PURPLE
I've got brown hair and blue eyes and wear light grey on the upper lid and darker grey on the lower. I also wear light gold and green and plums with navy liner. Go to a makeup counter at a big store or a place like the FaceShop/BodyShop and ask them to try some colours on you to get some inspiration. Have fun!
i would say a light brown or gold for blue. If you have more on the grey/blue side id say dark grey or silver. It makes your eyes really stand out.
I think shades of brown lite and /or dark really make blue eyes pop...and try putting either black or brown eyeliner on your top lid only and always black mascara.

What eye makeup will make my brown eyes pop?
I have big, light brown eyes and I want makeup that will make my eye color pop. Thanks for your help! What eye makeup will make my brown eyes pop?
purple and greenWhat eye makeup will make my brown eyes pop?
Eye liner...probably a darker color like brown or black
royal blue and purple
Like an exotic green or like an exotic orange if not sure go to victorias secret the one with makeup and you can ask them i have broen eyes and thats what they said or a color thats the opposit color of your eyes
deep colors like purples and midnight blues...brown loks good too but if u want ur eyes to be like BAMMMMM then deep rich colors are awesome
loreal eyeshadow quads in autumn leaves. also try almay... they have a collection made especially for your particular eye color.
a bright non-shimmer pink. not light pink, but bright pink. clinique has a really really pretty one.
A sparkly copper eyeliner above your lashes and an oily black eyeliner on your lowerlashes, apply mascara too. One day my husband caught a glimpse of my eyes facing the sun, and I swear, he was in awe!
blue eye shadow or eye liner makes brown eyes really pop.
definetly blue
anything green .. i read somewhere that these colors compliment each other nicely and make each other stand out beautifully
eye liner would look awsome. black eyeliner makes brown eyes pop.
To make brown eyes pop out, I suggest using shimmery greens and blues. Shimmer powder helps, because usually brown eyes are so normal.
Purple also works well, and plum eyeliner.
your skin color except darker a little bit darker and a gold shimmer
gold or green

I'm not sure....but if you poked a pencil in your eye, I'm sure that'll make your eye pop....
My wife has big beautiful brown eyes...and when she gets all dolled up and uses like a dark blue eye makeup stuff....she looks fantastic! SO...I vote for the dark blue eye makeup stuff....
sorry, I don't know what its called.
light green eyeshadow
plus BLACK mascara
and then curl your eyelashes
But do you have brown hair? then you are more of a warm...Dark hair like black and light or fair skin then you are a cool toned skin color and light colors look well!
Pastels!
Especially blue, green or purple.
purple and blue make ur eys dazzle!
silver eyeshadow is your best friend... just put some in the middle of your lid then leave plain or add to it another eye shadow and it would make them pop more.
greens and blues look good too.. pretty much any colour but pale colours.
also try dark brown eye liner around the bottom part of the lid with and angled brush.
it's all in how you put on your eyeliner. Do the top and the bottom of your eye lid and take a Qtip and brush up at the end of your eye like a cat eye. make this very faint...it will bring out your eyes.
Purples.....
well, if you have brown hair, i would advise some blues or purples, to make your eyes a little bit more delicate/exotic looking, since brown is kinda earthy. also, what i do is i take an irridescant eyeshadow, white or purple, and i wipe it on my brow bone and in a large circle around my eyes. very light, but just enough so it lightens the area around the eye. it really brings the brown out. also try a royal purple eyeliner w/ sparkles--%26gt; awesome!!! lol. to make your eyes pop, only line the top lid where the eyelashes are longer (about 1/2-3/4 of the way) out to the outer corner. line the outer half of the bottom lid and smudge w/ a q-tip, so the line is not as obvious. maybe line your eyes with a sparkly pastel blue eyeshadow, or a green. i think most any color might work for brown eyes, because i know most colors work for me (brown hair brown eyes) its always fun to experiment and create new styles or combinations. good luck!
A light green shadow will look perfect,+ mascara and eye liner
I have big brown eyes too...Whatever you do, don't use eyeliner...my friends always tell me not to cuz then it makes you seem like a dark and heavy makeup person. Use some light eye shadow and eye lash curlers and mascara. B4 u put on the make up tho, put on moisturizer and then concealer.
To make your eyes pop, use shimmer powder on your brow bone and in the inner corner of your eyes. Use eye shadow colors like purple and lavender, and use royal blue mascara. (instead of black.)
You deffenetly want black eyeliner, keep it warm, a little smoked.
But see for yourself!

What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?
I have grey eyes. Sometimes I want to bring them out, and I know wearing gray or white or black helps clothing wise (they reflect green if I wear green, blue if I wear blue, you get the idea, but they are actually gray). So what makeup would help bring out the gray? I'm makeup challenged. I have red hair and pale skin if that helps. What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?
Gold is suitable for every eye colour, plus it looks good! What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?
Try blue. Blue and gray complement each other.
I think silver would actually be a pretty good choice. It would compliment the gray without overpowering it. Also, it wouldn't reflect and make your eyes appear a different color because silver is essentially a gray.

Try black eyliner with mascara. That will really bring out the colour in ur eyes. With the eyeshadows, use any colour as long as ur matching it with the colour of clothing that ur wearing.

What kind of eye makeup works with a blue dress?
I have a school event coming up and I'm wearing a blue dress. It's like a deep blue and I was wondering what kind of eye makeup I should use? Should I go with a blue that matches the colour of the dress or go with a smokey eye? Or if anyone has any other ideas? What kind of eye makeup works with a blue dress?
IT definately depends on the shade of the dress. Also, don't be too ';matchy-matchy';. The color of your eyes really changes the color of your make-up. Here are the choices:
Brown eyes: green/golds
Blue eyes: rose/brown
Green eyes: lavender/mocha
Hazel eyes: deep green/pale yellow
What kind of eye makeup works with a blue dress?
When doing your makeup for a semi-formal or formal event, you don't want to match your makeup to your dress. You want to use your eye makeup to accent it. Think of your makeup as another accessory. I've got a blue dress for my semi formal coming up next month. There are a couple things you can do.
You can do the smokey eye, that goes with just about anything. You can also use natural shades (Dark brown through white.) Those will usually go with anything. Silver would work too. If you really want your eyes to pop out, use a contrasting color such as pink, yellow or purple, if you want to play it safe. Pick a color and make sure to have a dark shade, a medium shade, and a light shade. Use the side of the applicator brush and make a thin line using the medium or light shade underneath your eye below the lashes. (Apply any eye liner or mascara before doing the eye shadow) Then, Take the medium shade and put it on the top lid, either up to the crease, or to your brow, thats more of a personal preference, and your choices of how high up to bring the line will probably change based on what color you use. Then, take the dark shade of your color choice and use a medium-thin line on the upper lid right above the lashes. Make sure to experiment a little before the big night, to make the necessary alterations.
I hope this helped :)
I wouldnt wear a blue color cause then it would match too much and might look tacky.
Silver or a smokey eye sounds great! =]
Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What color eye makeup would look best on me?
I have blonde hair and green eyes, with fair skin. I just don't want anything too harsh or dark. What color eye makeup would look best on me?
Try a redish brown or copper, or purple. Those colours are opposite to green, and will make your eyes really pop! What color eye makeup would look best on me?
well it depends on what you like really.
but grey makeup tends to look good with green
eyes.
plus, purple makeup makes green eyes really pop.

What is a good makeup remover for eye makeup and for young skin?
Okay so I'm looking for something that removes eye makeup but can be used for removing foundation too, but like mainly for removing eye makeup. Also, can you please tell me where to get it from? What is a good makeup remover for eye makeup and for young skin?
I use Johnson and Johnson eye makeup remover and if I'm lazy and don't want to cleanse, tone and moisturise just to take off my makeup, I use Johnson and Johnson makeup removers. You can buy these products basically anywhere. What is a good makeup remover for eye makeup and for young skin?
I'm not too sure about removing foundation with it but Lancome Bi-facial is pretty good, it's gentle and gets make-up off pretty good :) You can get it at the mall they usually have it at the make-up section.
I just use regular Dove bar soap. It removes eye makeup and foundation.
Remover can irritate your eyes, I use Lancome and had a allergic reaction to it.
Almay eye makeup remover pads.
They're truely the best!
:)
You can find them at drug stores, HEB, or Target.
Pretty much anywhere where they sell makeup.
It's inexpensive and works!
The best thing to remove eye makeup is baby oil ,but ,I don't reccomend it for removing foundation. You can buy it where baby products are sold.
I suggest Johnson face and eyes makeup removal with blue pearls .it's gentle on skin an removes even waterproof mascara .try it you'll not regret.
vaseline works REALLY GOOD. that may sound kinda weird usuing vaseline on your face but it REALLY works!!
baby oil works perfectly and you can get it anywhere

Eye makeup....?
Can anyone tell me the most effective way to get eyeshadow in that outward sweeping wing look - like the way jordan usually wears her eye makeup - kinda sweeping out at the edge to create an almost cateye effect - Im pretty much a dab hand at applying make up but I end up like someone whose been in a fight when I try to do this! I think it would look so fantastic for a night out so anyone with tips would be loved forever!!
Thanks guys!
xxEye makeup....?
i go for smoky eyes - always follow these stages:
- black liquid eye liner (with small flicks at the end of my eyes)
- add a neutral colour all over lids
- next a soft pink colour (as its great with brown eyes) on to lids and just above the crease
- next a soft grey colour up to crease on lid and under eye (on outer edge only)
- next a black colour just along the outer edge of eye (both ontop and underneath) this should be just a thin line along your eye liner line (definitely not upto crease)
- finally add mascara
- for an extra sparkly touch add sparkle liner along the top of eye where you originally put your black eye liner. (u can get this online from avon (avon combo of sparkle clear liner and mascara) its great for xmas
hope that all made sense, if not post a note and ill try to make it clearer...definetly have a go tho coz you'll find you'll love it...i wear mine like this most weekends when I'm out...guarantee you'll get loads of comments asking how you did it so you can pass on this info too.Eye makeup....?
buy really good eye make up brushes and also an eyeliner pen rather than a pencil
first, it's a necessity to use an eyeshadow base it hold any type of eyeshadow in place; to get the cat eye look what you absolutely must have is a good brush to apply eyeshadow with (a thin, tapered one works best). to get a fab result use more than one shade in layers (light, darkest, second lightest), it never fails. just remember that no one is a natural when it comes to wearing makeup, like everything else it requires patience and practise.
Use a highlighter/base/neutral tone on all of eye lid first and slightly over eyelid - not quite up to eyebrow but to the brow bone. One with a shimmery tone is best.
Then you need a much darker shade, still an eyeshadow %26amp; not a liner as this is what creates the 'sweeping' effect. Apply a thick line of it directly above lashes following shape of eye and then flicking up %26amp; out at the end almost or up to the end of your eyebrow. Then you need to blend it in with the base keeping it coming outward %26amp; up always towards tip of eyebrow.
Apply the same darker shade under eye as well %26amp; blend up %26amp; outwards also meeting the top line so they join %26amp; blend up towards edge of eyebrow.
I would also apply eyeliner of same shade into roots of bottom lashes for depth.
Apply mascara to top lashes only %26amp; more to the outer ones as this will create a more 'cat eye' look.
Also To increase the 'cat eye' look liquid liner flicked up %26amp; out is good on top lids.
After that its really up to you how much you apply to create a dramatic or more subtle look, but hopefully that will help with the basic idea!
by reading yr question it seems like u are not that good at putting make up. well honey its not yr fault, many ppl cant put make up by themselves. but my solution for u is that ask someone to do yr make up. describe them how u want it to be. may be yr frndzz or any relative, i hope they will help u and i am sure u will look dazzling. i hope my suggestion helps u. keep smiling!! bye and tc.
Thanks guys!

by reading yr question it seems like u are not that good at putting make up. well honey its not yr fault, many ppl cant put make up by themselves. but my solution for u is that ask someone to do yr make up. describe them how u want it to be. may be yr frndzz or any relative, i hope they will help u and i am sure u will look dazzling. i hope my suggestion helps u. keep smiling!! bye and tc.

I totally need new ideas for my eyes! I am getting so bored! Please give me some eyemakeup ideas and give step by step instructions, pics would help a lot too please! I have sorta big, brown eyes, dark eyelashes.Eye makeup?
Have fun with your eye makeup! Usually, the eyes are what most people look at when they first see you. Its fun to change your eye makeup with what you are wearing, so if you are wearing a green top and feel courageous, try using a green shadow with brown eyeliner. You can even use two different colors together. One of my favorites is using a light pink shadow closer to my lashes, and a darker pink or even purple shadow in the crease of the lid. Take some time on a rainy day and experiment. Thats what they make eye makeup remover for!Eye makeup?
I wouldn't do fake lashes; colored mascara is fun, and purples are good for brown eyes. Also, here is a good way to wear blue: Smudge a little navy liner on your lash line, then spread some blue into the lid. Blend blue/gold into the crease with gold on the browbones. Great for brown eyes; but go easy with the rest of your face's makeup. Also, try vibrant colors and mix/blend unexpected colors together for a unique look.
Best thing to do is: A- Go to the mall and have someone professional do it and show you how. B- call a mary kay consultant in your area to come to your own home to show you some new tricks and ideas. Either way will get you awesome results.
In my opinion the eyes and lip are the most important part of your face My favorite eyes style is the dark smokey eyeshadow and long thick looking lashes since u allready have dark eye lashes its good not to use way to much mascara .
1. use have to put on gold shimmer concealer around the whole eye then the water proof liquid eye liner around the rim of both the top and bottom of your eye
2. Next u apply the black eyeshadow apply heavy glaze ant the base of the rop on ur eye tand word ur way half way to the middle of that space between ur eye and eyebrow
3. use a dark shimmery silver at the top of your eye right under the eyebrow and with ur finger smear down lightly but not touching black get it really close allmost touching it then use ur finger agina to smear the black into the darkgrey to make it look like the black is getting lighter as its going up
4. then apply the mascara on both the top and botton lash curl and then wait til dry when dry apply a final coat of mascara just to make sure itll stay up
This us used for party reason s only
try putting like blue eye shadow on top and like purple in a thin strip right below ur bottom lashes.. and use like a blue eyeliner... once i used white eyeliner on bottom and black ontop.. just bee funky!
No mascara, Green and browns for shadow, eye liner, liquid or smudged pencil
i love love love lavender shadow on your color of eyes...and purple liner and lots of lashes, false or otherwise...and some liner on bottom of eyes and make sure your brows are groomed and look good as they frame the face....
TRY LOOKING IN DIFFERENT MAGIZINES THAT WOULD GIVE YOU A IDEA WHATS IN STYLE
Lots of purple and black eyeliner. Through in fake eyelashes and voila!
sharpie
I would suggest a combination of both orange and purple eyeliner. If this doesn't answer your question or you need more details, please contact me.
Try the Mary Kay Virtual Makeover for some color ideas. You select the model that best represents your skin tone and eye color and it will give you a bunch of suggestions. Then once you've done that go to the Application Tips section and it will give you step by step, detailed instrcutions on how to apply it for your specific type of eyes. put on a mascara base (the white one) and then put on some colored mascara like pink, blue, green. add some eyeliner (i would reccomend liquid liner from MAC) purple or gold. i think the gold would be good with false lashes because it emphasizes the color brown in eyes.
If you wear green (green as in emerald) your eyes will pop. They'll be really noticeable.
The colors you should wear not only depend on eye color but skin and hair colors as well. if you are brown eyed dark haired and fair skined (before you hit the tanning bed or selftanners) you would be a cool winter. You'll want to stay away from greens and pale blues, these are more suited to red heads. Earth tones, golds, and berry colors are for you. If you want to go with a blue go with a darker shade, such as a midnight or navy color. You want people to say 'Look at that girl with pretty brown eyes'; not ';look at that girl with the colorful eyeshadow.';
I love to go dramatic...use black, blue, or purple eye liners the same with mascara (buy it with the longer lash kind, like lash exact by cover girl)...just dont over do it...go more suttle with a light purple or silver color...even white shadow.

I have very bright blue eyes, and even though they stand out i would like them to look even brighter, what kind of eye liner, eye shadow and masscara should i use? And how sould i apply it?Eye makeup?
id say any make, in black ,
apply the eyeliner thick, and the mascara thinly, or in between.Eye makeup?
I think smokey grey colors would look good with blue eyes. The same with the eyeliner. It darker colors bring out the color of your eyes even more and it gives you that mysterious look.
Try Almay's eyeshadow for blue eyes. I have brown eyes, and I use their eyeshadow for brown eyes, and it makes them seem so much brighter. Also, line the lower lash line with white eyeliner, it will make the whites of your eyes seem much whiter.
I Use Silver =)

you can get a vertual makeover at www.marykay.com/ruizfamily it is very cool!!!
For blue eyes they always seem to recommend using browns to make your eyes stand out more. I also have blue eyes, I use a dark brown eyeliner when I wear it I normally line the bottom and just the outer corners, smudge it a bit so it doens't look to drawn on. Then use a 3 color pallette of browns...normally a light creme to cover the eyelid up to the brow bone, then use the second darkest to cover the eyelid just a bit over the eyelid crease then I use the darkest color in the compact to brush around the eye like eyeliner over top of the existing eyeliner and also along the lash line on the top of your eyelid....start of light and slowly add if you want a more darker look. Top it all off with some black mascara. You can use any brand...I have used it all from cover girl to urban decay, smashbox...they all work great just find a color compact with colors you like in neutrals and browns and go from there.
browns work better, if you want to know how to apply it, go to Oprah.com and click the beauty link, it will show you the step by step procedures.
complimentary colors make eyes stand out, so orange would probably be your best bet. you dont have to wear bright pumpkin on your lids, but try a golden orange or nuetral, rusty orange, or an orange-tinted nuetral, etc. for shadow. Wear brown or black liner depending on the occasion, brown will look more natural but still give your eyes some defintiion while the shadow makes them pop. black is much more dramatic. same with mascara.

I have big-ish dark blue (sometimes greenish-blue) eyes that are somewhat deep set and blonde hair with light brown eyebrows. what should i do for eyeliner, shadow, mascara, should i curl my lashes?Eye makeup?
Since you have light brown eyebrows I would go with a dark brown eyeliner and a dark brown or even clear mascara. Black mascara or eyeliner may be too harsh of a look. For the shadow I think a plum/purple color would look best. I would also sweep on a sparkly sheer shadow below the brow bone to make the eyes pop. You may even want to add a hint of the shimmer shadow to the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop even more. I would also suggest curling your lashes. Curling helps accentuate the eyes. Even if you just curl your lashes and apply a couple coats of mascara this will make your eyes stand out.Eye makeup?
well i know that there is a brand called almay and they make this product called i-color and they have like eyeshadow, mascara, liner all to match your eyes. but if your still not to sure you can always ask the lady who works at the makup counter and ask her what would look best on you
always curl eyelashes if you can
you should use a nice cream color onthe entire lid with a nice teal or purple in the crease to make your eyes pop, then use mascara and tightline your eyeliner.
Tightlining is eyelining your top waterline and in between you top lashes, getting it from underneath rather than applying eyeliner on the toplid over your lashes.
Use pink and gold eyeshadow is you want to bring out the green in your eyes with brown, or copper eyeliner, and brown mascara, if your lashes don't curl already then yes. If you want to bring out the blue use blues, and browns. almay intense I color is the best stuff.
You could wear black liquid eyeliner (not a lot), black mascara, and blue eyeshadow. Those things will really bring out your eyes.
you should wear brown mascar and whit eye shadow and black behindskin lyrics

I want to know a way to do my eye makeup pretty much daily. Something to make my eyes look big and dramatic?
I don't mind any amount of makeup. I don't wear foundation or blush or anything, and just shiny pinkish/red gloss on my lips.Eye Makeup?
bonne bell has good colors for your skin tone.
use a dark chocolate shadow on your lids and crease- make it a shimmery shade. it's much prettier than the dulls. then apply a peach just above the crease, and an illuminating shadow directly along the underneath of your eyebrows. if you want to use liner, use very dark brown liner, but not around the entire eye. look up the movie ';becoming jane';. you can see anne hathaway's eyeliner well on the cover of that movie, and it would be good for widening (she's got wide eyes and is an expert on how to dramatize them). black mascara, or brownish/black. on your bottom lid, use a shimmery light brown color and maybe apply a little mascara to your bottom lashes as well.Eye Makeup?
black mascara and black eye liner will draw attention to you eyes
black eyeliner and mascara will draw lots of attention to your eyes.
I put dark eyeliner on my upper lids:
I take the dark brown pencil start thin then go think towards the end to the lid
peach blush
and chap stick

I would recommend going to sephora and getting some new makeup. They have professionals who can help you. Just tell them you dont want to go to heavy and you want an everday makeup look. They did an awesome job for me. One of my friends from out of state went to the M.A.C. counter at nordstroms and she said they did an awesome job for a more ';rocker'; look. If your every wondering in foundation....GET BARE MINERALS ITS AMAZING!!!
Brown eyeliner and light gray mascara.
Green eyeshadow, black liner, black mascara.
Mascara, EyeLiner and liquid eyeliner on the top
Yes. Use a eye lash curler first (heat it up helps set the curl). Apply neautral eye shadow (ie: shimmery brown), thick line of eye liner (this will make them appear bigger) than 2 coats of mascara. Try to use eye liner on the lower lid not as often %26amp; refrain from applying mascara on the lower lash's if you have dark circles under your eyes. ps: sleep well, drink lots of water %26amp; alwaysss remove make up or else your skin around the eyes will start going bad :S
Okay :) Well, this page has kits that you can buy for eyes %26amp; they tell you what kind of looks you could get %26amp; how to achieve them. There are other individual products too! http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/app.n鈥?/a>
You can go into any Bare Escentuals Store, or Ulta, Sephora to see/try on colors.
P.S.....If You didn't catch it they make colored mascaras as well %26amp; shadows can be used as liners, they are interchangeable.
For Olive Skin Golds/Browns/Nuetrals/Corals :)
you could put eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger and for eyeshadow u ussualy put a light color on bottom and a color that matches the bottom one but brighter and ut it like a cat style but dont put it 2 above your eyes where u feel the end of your eyeball is where you stop and mascara 2 make your eyes look cute
to make your eyes look bigger use WHITE EYELINER
but if you want it to look dramatic use like blue eyeliner and get a white eye pencil (a big one) and put it on the inner corner of your eye and underneath the eyebrow
just watch this girls video its AMAZING how she does her make up. She shows you how to do it too :)

I have mostly green with a little bit of blue eyes.
Could anyone link some pics for good eye make up to make them stand out?Eye makeup?
Some good colors to try would be pinks with a plum or purple eye liner, amethyst, gold, and you can't go wrong with any neutral in the brown/beige family or a smoky grey. Keep the lashes brown or black for a better effect. You can also easily use Almay for green eyes or Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow in Blushed Wines, Berry Bloom, or Sultry Smoke.Eye makeup?
you can actually buy eye makeup from almay,, they have the right shades depending on your eye color
it really works
hope this helps(:
Estee Lauder has the most vivid and long lasting eyeshadows, I believe some brown/gold tones, just more natural colors would compliment your eyes best!
Purple looks good with our eyes!!
And maybe a shimmery looking kind.
umm i think pink eyeshadow works

I have light green eyes, pale skin, and dark brown hair. My eyes look alright with the brown and green shadows and liner that I use, but I can't figure out how to give them that hot smokey look. When I try it, the contrast makes my eyes look just.. freaky.... Also, all the videos I've seen on how to do it, are on people with brown eyes, and I'm starting to wonder if that's what makes the difference. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks ^_^Eye makeup?
i would go bronze instead of too dark. start light and add the bronze on top to highlight the areas so that you arent starting out dark and trying to lighten it up. something shimmery, even a gray if you dont like gold, shouldnt be that drastic for your eyes. use a brown or black eyeliner on the top and bottom, and black mascara on both as wellEye makeup?
Well, I got brown eyes so what makes my eyes look pretty is black eyeliner clear mascara and gold or green eyeshodow. well for green eyes you should use dark purple or lavender or mocha eyeshadow. finish it off with black eyeliner and brown mascara. hey try it might work. don't forget to smudge some shadow under your eyes and maybe use dark purple or if you want it light use lavender.
try using a pink shimmering color on the lid then brushing on a grey along the crease, use liquid eyeliner, run it thin from the inside increasing it to the outter. that's what i do, i have green/brown eyes, dark brown hair and fair skin.
In my opinion I would say to go for lighter color sound like you stay in a comfort zone, play around with color a little, do the 3 color shadow over your eye, do 2 colors, then try one that you really like and maybe add that with the other colors that are not in your comfort zone. For the most part just play around with color.
use sharpy markers..you only need to do it once
Although I do not do smokey eyes, maybe you should go to Sephora. They have makeup experts there and they might be able to help you.
*BTW, I think that you should experiment with different eye liner colors to make your eyes really pop.
If you're eyes are green, then you shouldn't be using a green liner, you should use a brown one.
Check this link, hopefully it'll help. :)

use a black or dark gray powder eye liner
black liquid eyeliner and gray eyeshadow,i'm an make up expert!
Put on your brown or gold eye shadow on just your lid and then take the black shadow and towards the outer part of the eyelid kind of outline the shadow and fill in the middle just a little....Almost like you are making a V sideways on your outerlid, but filling in some of the V, then of course put on your liner and mascara. If you put on too much black shadow, thats what will make you look like you got punched in the eye.
instead of putting black aalllllll over your eyes just put it mostly on the outer liner edges of the eyes (eye liner). and then put black shadow on the creases of the eyes.. (where your eye closes above the lid)
that should get the effect mostly there :)

You have to blend the colors together that is key. Also make sure you use brushes like a round brush and a straight edge brush. Those 2 are key for the smokey eyes...I would recommend a base color close to your skin color. Then put the darker color on so if you want to use black...Then incase it is too dark use a lighter color to blend such as a gray. hope this helped!
haha , umm well let's say your using purple shadow (i like dark purple and light purples because its a more subtle smokey eye, not as harsh as black) ... for eyeliner, either use a black pencil for the bottom lashes, or a thin line of black liquid liner on the top. blend the lighter color into the lid, and blend the darker color in the crease and on the edges of the eyelids. (use shadow with a bit of a shimmer) put on a couple coats of black mascara and you are good to go. hope this helps =)

Eye makeup?
i have medium sized eyes. but on my face.. i feel like they look really small. can u guys give me some tips on how I can do my eyemakeup to make it look really nice but at the same time natural? i've tried using black eyeliner on the top lid.. but idk.. i look like i have on too much makeup. i want something really simple but something that will at the same time look nice. I don't know if this would matter but i have a fair complexion and blackish brownish hair. thanx!!Eye makeup?
If you want to increase the look of your eyes, use a lighter color. Black will only make them look smaller. Try using a light shimmery color, like a pastel. That will open your eyes up and make them look larger. Plus it's really easy to do!Eye makeup?
go with a color that matches ur eye color and instead of on the top lip put it on the bottom, and use mascara
try a pastel color eyeshadow and/or brown liner and brown mascara
good luck,

Eye makeup?
i have green eyes and i really want to make them pop and look beautiful. right now i only wear mascara which is very bland. i want to wear eyeliner and eye shadow without making it look slutty. tips please?Eye makeup?
Green eyes! Wow, beautiful! Umm first of all, make sure your mascara doesn't clump, if it does, I recommend Maybelline Full n' Soft.
Eyeliner- Kohl or Mac eyeliners are really easy to handle with. Just apply it lightly to your bottom eyelid, if you think it looks uneven, apply it to your upper eyelid by pulling your eyes to the side and apply it from the edge of your iris to the end of your eye.
Eyeshadow- Mac has such a brilliant and great variety of eyeshadow. I suggest a really light pink would look great on you.
Make sure you don't overdo it! Good Luck!Eye makeup?
you have green eyes. rare color. considered by many to be the most beautiful. please dont wear too much make up around them. I personally like makeup on a girl when its just right... but it seems to me that you have naturally beautiful eyes. so maybe just a little makeup. but if you wear too much, it will look like ur
a) trying too hard/
b) no self confidence

Okies for green eyes I would try the colors and tones of pink and purple (lavender)
First apply your foundation..blah blah...and then use a light colored powder and brush it on underneath your eyes to catch any loose eyeshadow..
Ok apply a light color of the pink or purple as the base...cover the entire lid and apply a small line of this same color underneath your eye..
Then use a darker toned pink or purple and apply it to the crease and use this same color on the outer corner of your eye on the lid...
Then if you want to add eyeliner...use a fine tip eyeliner and apply it close to your eyelashes and keep it as thin as possible...If you want to apply it under your eye as well only do the outer corners and keep it as thin as possible too...
Now for mascara use telescopic by L;oreal paris...This is the best mascara I have ever used...it seperates the lashes when u apply it and doesnt leave clumps and you usually only have to apply it once (Like I use to have to apply mascara atleast 5 times to get them to look thick)..
Im not sure what ur skin color or tone is...so I cant really suggest blush...but to tip it all off I would use a light pink colored lip gloss or just a clear color.
Try using a dark eye shadow as a liner. Get an angled stiff brush and powder eyeshadow (brown or charcoal) and just add a little definition to your eyes without making a sharp line that liners do. And if that's too much definition, take a q tip and smudge it. For eye shadow, I use three different shades of the same color. A very light color at the brow, the next shade darker at the lower lid and then in the crease and the outside edge of your eyeid, from the crease down to the lash line, smudge a slightly darker color. It looks more natural that way and enhances the depth of your eyes. Use an eye shadow brush instead of the sponges that come with them. It goes on lighter and is easier to blend.
My daughter has green eyes...she looks great with browns or pinks...go to www.rimmellondon.com for great tips...they have a great choclatine quad, use it with sable or chianti liner.
To bring out your green eyes; you should add some violets to your make up routine; and maybe a very light highlighting color like white or even lilac shimmer under your brow from the inside to the outside of the eye, then fill in the crease with a dark violet color and then over the eyelid you could fill in with a cool purple color. As far as eyeliner goes, brown or blue!
Oranges would also look fun!
Just experiment! If you don't like it, you can always wash it off, and hey; you could get together with some friends and play with your make up and try to see what looks the best! Or what you like the best!
Now remember! We were made with what we were made with; don't try to cover them up too much, you want your natural beauty to come out as well! Make up is only made to enhance our own natural beauty!
Good luck!
use color that match your skin tone.
dont use bright drastic colors.
greens and browns would look great with green eyes.
use natrual colors.
brown for eye liner instead of black.
use lighter colors on bottom of eye lid and blend with darker colors up to the crease in the eye lid
ok here is what you do use eyeliner on the bottom of the eyelid and then take a brown somewhat dark eyeshadow powder, ok so weat the brish and get the brown on it and apply it to the eyelid then dependin on the outfit add like pink or blue on the brown and a little bit above and put mascara on both the top and the bottom with a medium dark blush you will look awsome. Good Luck! o and you can look up make-up tips online 2!
get an eye shadow that sortta matches ur skin tone but not exactly so it doesnt look like ur just wearing foundation on ur eyes
watever u do, dont wear green eyeshadow! it takes away from ur green eyes! and u dont want nething flashy that will take away from them either like bright pink or blue...but a soft pink might work depending on ur skin tone again
Your gonna wanna go w/ a dark brown eyeliner. Covergirl has a nice cauppichno shade.
You gonna use it on the bottom under your eye, above the eyelashes. theres a smooth part there, thats where u wanna use it.
Also, as crazy as this might sound as light purple eyeshadow makes green eyes look AMAZING. so i would try that, but if your not that daring, a nice browny-gold would be a very cool way to go.

What are the best eye makeup colors for blue eyes?
I have light skin and light blue eyes, with black hair, what eye makeup do u think would look good? What are the best eye makeup colors for blue eyes?
nice black eye liner, and 2 coats of mascara.
The smokey gray/black eye shadow will really bring out your black hair and blue eyes.
it looks really nice.
Like this:What are the best eye makeup colors for blue eyes?
I have blue eyes and pale skin also, and i've found that greys and metallic silvers really bring out blue eyes.
Use a metallic silver eyeliner on the inner corners of your eyes.
I also like to use (over a eye base of skin-coloured eyeshadow) Revlons Molten Metal eyeshadow in the silver on my brow bone.
omg one of my really close friends has the same look as you and she does her eyes beautifully. What she does is line the bottom inside lids with brown eyeliner and wears gold/brown eyeshadow. Then she uses brownish black mascara and thats all. Its simple but i really look gorgeous. Here are examples of some stuff you could use....

Good Luck lovey, i hope this helped you.
I have gray blue eyes and i use greens or purples on my eyes and they pop out. Use brown liner with a deep olive or a light green and they will pop. Or use like a Grey / light black liner with light purple or Burgundy and they will pop too.
i think that you should probably stick to natural colors. For your eyes, you should wear like a brown. It can be dark brown or light. I think black would also look good. Then you should put on a thin line of eyeliner. Then some mascara.
stay away from the blue.
This would look really pretty!!!

What eye makeup can I use to make my green/hazel eyes appear more green?
My eyes are green in the sun or similar lighting, but appear hazel in low lighting. What kind of makeup could I use to bring out the green? My skin is fair, and my hair is medium to dark brown in case that has any effect. What eye makeup can I use to make my green/hazel eyes appear more green?
You could use either one.
I bet you have beautiful eyes, and pale pinks, dark smoky purples, and deep burgandys will spring your lovely eyes into action!
A deep purple eyeliner for the nighttime will look really sexy.
Try this:
A light, highlighting pale shade (Here we're going for shine, not color) all over your lids, just as a base. Then, either a dark plum or one of those beautiful burgandy's directly in your crease and a little above it will look extremely sexy, but not too much for daytime wear. Hope this helps! What eye makeup can I use to make my green/hazel eyes appear more green?
I would suggest using greens, probably paler greens. I have hazel eyes, and they seem to change colors according to my makeup color. If you use green, it will bring out the green version of your eyes, and will make your hazel version appear greener.
If your hazel eyes still appear the same color as they were before, try using a blue/green color, like turqoise or sea green. It will bring out both colors!
If you have hazel eyes, your eyes will reflect whatever color you put around them...
So if you use green, your eyes will look more green.
Use blue, they will look more blue...
Use grey, they will look more grey....
You get the picture.
black eyeliner
Light brown eyeshadow and a tad of light brown eyeliner on your lower lashline. And then just use normal black mascara.
pale makeup and green/blue eyeshadow with thick black eyeliner
I have hazel/green eyes also. On myself I have noticed that when I wear blue/grey/silver stuff my eyes look more brown.
When I wear Natural colors like light pink and browns, they look more green. Have fun experimenting!!
PS: Are you my twin? lol, I am also pale and have dark brown hair...
purples and mauves look good I have similar colors and i use darker subtle purples and mauves to make my eyes pop
try out red. not too red so that you look sick, but maybe a little. you could also use green. a leafy green, but not too much.
Put on green eye shadow.lol. You can try using Med/Dark colors for your eyes so they stick out more.
teal eyeliner works good for me,or forest green
Almay has a ';Bring Out'; collection to bring out the specific color of your eyes. There is even one for hazel eyes.
http://almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyeslips.鈥?/a>
Many people(including my ex-husband) seem to think that ';hazel'; is a shade of blue. (not you, dooors) This is incorrect. Hazel is a shade in between brown and green. You could call it olive. So, folks, keep that in mind when you are giving your advice. For those who don't believe me, see the site listed below. You will find an eye color chart.
any shade of blue or green...personally i like teal.
do a smoke effect .... and wear fake lashes
i also have hazel eyes, and i use pink eyeshadow to line my upper and lower lash line. It makes my eyes really POP and look green. then apply one coat of very black mascara on upper and lower lashes to accentuate your eyes. the pink really works though. It has something to do with the color wheel, and if you choose a color opposite the one you have, it makes it stand out, so pink is opposite green on the color wheel.
green/hazel eyeshadow, you know how u helped ME though? you gave me points. that eyeshadow i told u to use...... well..........
you will......... your eyes will brighten
wear a sparkly lite cinnamon color eyeshadow with black mascara and a thin amount of black eyeliner only on the bottem
I would use the Almay eyeshadow for green eyes.
I know you were looking for make-up advice, but I have the same physical makeup and for myself, its a matter of clothing, hair accessories, hats that really change the color of my eyes. Makeup always has enhanced my eye color, but I can even change my eye color to a steel blue with my clothing. Opt for blues and greens in your clothing and stay away from the browns/tans.....might work for you too.

I have pretty pale skin, freckles, darkish brown hair, and green eyes. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I'd like to be able to go out sometimes looking good. My problem is I always end up looking really goth instead of elegant. Any tips? What color eye makeup is best for me?
LOL. dark make up looks good. and maybe some earthy tones, too.
but you're right. it can either go the elegant way or the gothic way. what's the difference? application. it all goes down to that. for the eyeliner, dont go too heavy, dont apply too much. draw a thin line and add up instead of going all out in one thick, heavy line. it's easier to add than to remove make up. :) and a trick isto apply eyeliner to only half of your lower eyeline (left eye: left towards right, right eye:right towards left) HAHA and finish the rest with champagne colored eye liner. What color eye makeup is best for me?
I'm pretty much the same! except with blue eyes :) anyways I used to wear black eyeliner everyday and it was wayyy to much for my pale skin. So, i switched to brown eyeliner and its made such i big difference! it makes my eyes stand out without making me look paler then I all ready am haha. hope this helped !
Since you're eyes are green, you can go for purple eyeshadow. That'll make the green in your eyes really pop.
You could always try liquid eyeliner on your top lids too. Just keep the line thin, so it looks pretty, not gothic.
smokey browns and purples would look really good
they will make your eyes POP!
and if you use white eyeliner on the waterline of your eye it will make your eyes appear bigger
it worked for me I got compliments all day telling me I had big eyescamera

How much damage will wearing eye makeup everyday have?
I'm a teenager and I wear makeup (eyeliner and mascara) daily. This sounds really weird but I've been kind of getting concerned lately as to how my face is going to look in 20 years. Does eyeliner have an aging effect? How much damage will wearing eye makeup everyday have?
more or less, yes.
you have to pull and tug on your eyes while you draw and also when you remove your eye make up.
in years to come, it would result in more sagging and fine lines than others who do not wear eye make up.How much damage will wearing eye makeup everyday have?
i wear makeup everyday also and tugging at your eyes will have a small effect, but as long as you're removing all your make-up before you go to sleep you'll be fine. your skin just needs some time to breathe.
i hear some where that wearing make up like foundation is a good thing because it protects your face :)
I didnt pay attention to the tugging, pulling, %26amp; rubbing i was doing...until i realized my eyelids are drooping %26amp; are very loose %26amp; have extra skin (i stretched it i guess)..i learned the hard way.....just be very gentle and sensitive with your skin.
If your eyes are sensitive and you easily get allergies, you might need to throw away your eye make-up after 6 months and buy some new products.
Do not buy the ';waterproof'; mascara. It is bad for your eye lashes. I don't know about the eye liner, but just to be on the safe side I wouldn't get it.
You should remove all make up from your eyes, face, etc. b/f going to sleep.

Yes if you were eye makeup everyday then you will get wrinkles under your eyes sooner ( you may think I'm lieing, but I'm SOOO not)
I think the most important thing to think about is replacing your eye make-up frequently to avoid any bacteria that it may get. Also, do not share anything because some one might have an eye infection without knowing it right away.

What is the best drugstore eye makeup remover for contact lens wearers?
I am using a makeup remover right now from the drugstore and I have to swipe it across my eye several times, which results in my contact sometimes messing up and other times my eye lid (upper and lower) starts hurting. Does anyone know of a really great one? What is the best drugstore eye makeup remover for contact lens wearers?
It's not drugstore, but I have contacts and very sensitive eyes, and it does not affect my eyes.

My sister is a contact lens wearer and she swears by Rimmel's eye makeup remover. It's gentle on the eyes, extremely effective, and very inexpensive.
you should take your contacts off first and then remove your make up . but if you want to know really good make up removers , use johnson%26amp;johnson's baby oil.
hope this helped :)
MAC or wet tissues.
Vichy have great eye make up removers but you should take you contact lenses out first

You can try on different colors and styles of makeup at taaz.com. It's cool to see what the makeup looks like on your photo. Have fun and good luck.
yellow eyeliner an black eye shadow an mascara or vise versa have fun (they sell all of these products in primmis) (primmis is primark)
Go to a makeup artist
Use gold and black. Put the gold on the inside corner of your eye and put it maybe all the way up to your eyebrows. Then take a eye pencil, black and make a line from the outside corners of your eyes, making the cat eye look. Then take black eyeshadow and put it from the center or a little to the outside of your eye and put the black over the gold and all the way out to the end of the line you drew making your eyes very pointed looking
