What kind of eye makeup looks best with hazel eyes?

It seems that dark eyeliner is a bit much, and with none, my face looks plain. Any suggestions?What kind of eye makeup looks best with hazel eyes?
I use a copper-ish color eyeliner on my eyes. They are green hazel. Don't apply it in a full circle around your eyes.

i have hazel eyes... when i want my eyes to look brown, i use brown eye shadow... but ive also used blues and greens... not too much though but just enough to accent the green in my eyes..





expierment with different shades of eye shadow, you'll be amazed with what colors you can get to come out of your eyes when using different colors

i barely ever you a lot of eye makeup, but light pink eyeshadow looks great on hazel eyes. i recommend the almay eyeshadow compact that has pink for the eyelid, chocolate brown for the crease, and cream to put on above the crease. i also use nyc pearlized black eyeliner on the top eyelid on certain days. black itself is too harsh, so the fact it's pearlized really gives it some shimmer. top it off with very black mascara, and i'm sure your eyes will pop!

hazel would look good in green eyeshadow. my opinion..
Light brown
apply a thin coat of milk of magnesia to your eyelids.
A nice Bronze or blue for eyeshadow.


Some nice Gold lipstick.


A light pink and brown blush.


A nice Bun in the hair.


A little purple eyeliner and that's it.

youre lucky. u can basically wear any color of eye liner or shadow. greens and blues look really good on my friend whose got gorgeous hazel eyes. im jealous now.
green makeup, brown or grey eyeliner
smokey pinks... create this look by applying pinks and softly brushing a light grey over the top of it. You will be amazed what this will do for you. Also, if you don't like the black eyeliner look, try using dark grey or black eyeshadow in place of it. It makes it much less subtle.
neutral colors.. your eyeliner should be brown.. not black.. you dont want to look like amy winehouse. your hazel eyes will stand out more if you wear light brown, tan, gold, eyeshadows.. dont use green or blue!!!! those colors will make your eyes look more brown.

Hazel eyes look good with brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten hazel eyes) Also gold, lime-green, really light green, bright purple go well if you want to look more modern. what i do is i mix diffrent shades of the same colour. i.e. i put a very light brown on first then a slightly darker shade then on the lid of the eye put a darker shade. aslo if you can put a tiny bit of the same colour eyeliner on the bottom of your eye lid and on the top a fine line to the middle of the eye.

you dont need to wear colours that match the colour of your iris, but its a good idea to select shades which will accentuate your natural colouring. brown eyes look striking with browns but can pull of almost any colour. grey/green eyes can be enchanced by charcoal and black or a deep, deep brown. green eyes stand out with khaki and brown. so you could find a combination of colours to suit how light/dark your eyes are.

i have green eyes with a little brown and it make them pop like crazy!! i've gotten many complements. the boys just might notice too:)
Hazel eyes look very good with a olive green or mossy green eyeliner. My sister prefers purple but it can tend to look like bruises or dark circles if you are not careful. Aqua is a very nice color also. You can also go with blue, but watch you dont look like a refugee from the 70's.
i have hazel eyes too!! i use almay eyeliner (great for contact wearers!) and it is in the black color. it looks really good and i match it up with a brown shade of eyeshadow or a smokey grey eyeshadow for a night on the town!! it works really well for me =]
