I'm currently using almay liquid remover, before that it was some cvs brand pads from cvs.. both of those have blurred my vision something horrible. Please help! What is a good eye makeup remover that doesn't blur your vision like some of the others?
I used the cotton pads with Rimmel, keep your eyes closed for the most of it. Do not rub, that's how you get it in your eyes. Then open your eyes and you will see smears of colour and just wipe away with a clean cotton pad. Try it. :-)What is a good eye makeup remover that doesn't blur your vision like some of the others?
I use the Body Shop's Chamomile eye make up remover lotion or Avon's Moisture Effective eye make up remover. Both are gentle and non irritating. Both gently remove all traces of make-up. You might have extra sensitive eyes, so be sure to keep your eyes closed while removing make-up and be extra sure that you keep all products from making direct contact with your eye. And be sure to rinse your eyes with clear water after removing make-up.
I use Almay oil-free make-up remover pads. I have found these cause significantly less blurring than any of the other products I have tried. In my experience, it is the oil that seems to cause the blurring. Also, if you happen to wear contacts make sure you take those out before using you eye make-up remover.
If you are like me who likes to open eyes while removing make up then closing to wipe then open then wipe again etc, no matter which make up remover you use it will get into your eyes and make them blurry. What I do now is just close eyes, wipe it nice and clean for an amount of time then keep them close still while washing your face clean with water. Only after you're done drying up the face that you open your eyes and if needed, use a cotton ball to clean up the make up residue.
Use one of those 'light blue' eye makeup removers ( e.g Loreal or Olay) and remember they are like a solvent ie it's more like dissolving nailvarnish than wiping off eye makeup. Damp a cotton wool pad (not ball) with the leye make up remover, press it gently on the eye FOR 10 SECONDS and then wipe it gently off - you don't need to rub or anything.
Oily ones do blur your eyes but the gentle 'blue' type (I don't know why they are always blue) don't - though you need to press for 10secs
I'm a nurse who used to work for a former model and Ziegfeld girl back in the 30's, and she always swore by using BABY OIL to remove eye makeup. I've never tried it, but good luck.
for me the best is petroleum jelly and the safes too.
it works for me cause i have poor eyesight im more careful of using make up remover
Here's what I use:
Pond's Cold Cream and a tissue.
It's easy... and cheap.
Mabelline is the best.
