Is it safe to use paint brushes for eye makeup?

I can't find a make-up brush thin enough for eyeliner that doesn't come in a set. But I found a perfect one at micheals. Is it safe to use it to put eyeliner on?Is it safe to use paint brushes for eye makeup?

it'll probably scratch your eyelid. its not something i would recommend. go to dollar tree. (yeah that sounds cheap) but they always have sets of brushes and there are some perfect ones that are for eyliner. and eyeliner bruses, does it really matter if its 5 strands of rabbit hair. like the ones you get from sephora that are $90273.
No not exactly there is actually a Prescribed Paint Brush that you can get from your Dermatoligest but if you would like to where it atleast put some foundation on your eye first so the paint brush wont seeeekkk in and the next morning you will have a rash.

a brush is a brush, it's not gonna do anything. as long as theres no chemicals or paint on it, theres no problem with it. it's just a brush with a different lable and more meant for painting, but if it works for eye liner, thats awesome.
there are the good soft paint brushes, and then there are the bristley cheap ones. you're going to scratch your eye out if you use cheap ones. but if they really are super soft like the paint brush i have..!! then go ahead actually- just don't poke yourself!
well if the brush has been used lately for paint it would be smart not 2 use it but if its new or if it has been thouroughly washed like 100 times then i would suggest using it but stay on the safe side and dont use it u dont wanna damage ur eyes
don't do it because they are too stiff and not made for your eyes try mac they have two really thin brushes one that is angled and one that is not. i use the angled one and i love it :-)
I've done it before and it worked fine. So I would say yes. As long as it is a CLEAN and QUALITY brush. Maybe try using it while it is damp/moist.

I guess it's ok as long as you haven't put anything on it except eyeliner.
I would assume so but if you aren't finding the right ones then you aren't looking in the right place...
I would not recomend it because the brussels of the brush might go into your eye.Good Luck!!!
As long as you haven't already used it with paint, then yes. It is totally safe and a great method too!
