I have blonde hair, and dark blue eyes. I find that black liner makes my eyes look smaller, so usually I wear purple liner, dark purple shadow and black mascara.
I'd like like to make my eyes pop, what colours/products should I be using?
ThanksWhat colours of eye makeup should I be wearing?
Blue eyes stand out with browns and coral shades. Black is too harsh. Almay has a new line out called ';intense i-color';. It's so cute, they have specific colors for every eye color. They have shadow, liner, %26amp; mascara, all coordinated to match your eyecolor. check it out. What colours of eye makeup should I be wearing?
use a light gray or light pink shadow. skip the liner and just use the black or brown mascara and shadow
Always go for opposites to make your eyes pop (think complementary colors on the color wheel). Try some shimmery browns, reddish browns, and greens.
since u have dark eyes i'd suggest using like a violet eyeshadow or maybe a dark pink if u really want them 2 POP!! LOL. and that violet eyeshadow would look good with that purple eyeliner u have
use light oranges and light blues. it sounds stupid, but it does work.
you could try a shade of silver light pink or light blue and if you go to places that sell loads of makeup you will find different colours of liner . But you should try white or even light blue!!!
Go for a silver eyeshadow above the eye, make it a thin line.. Then use a blue eyeliner over that.. And on your eye lid use some light colour, like golden or even white.. Cuz light colours make the eyes look bigger.. Use mascara lol, don't forget that one!!
Like clothing, eyeshadow colors have their seasons...certain colors for fall, spring, summer and winter. Just crack open magazines and keep up with the times.
White eyeliner makes eyes appear bigger, for the eyeshadow try a soft pink.
Using a light vanilla, apply over your lid, through your crease and extend to your brow line. Now use a soft brown (light) and apply to the outer 1/3 of your eye. Blend well. Now take a chocolate brown and apply to the crease of your eye, blending well. Apply chocolate liner to your upper lids and 1-2 coats of black/brown mascara.
Bluegreen!
Blue-eyed blondes look especially good in Grey's and, instead of using black liner, mix some brown and black together to tone down the black. You can also use a mixing medium (you can get this at Sephora or MAC stores) and use your darkest grey color as a liner. Black is just a little too harsh for you.
Dark Navy is another great color for you and, assuming your eyes are not deepset, this would create a lovely smokey eye look for a blonde blue eye.
Stila shadows have lots of greys as do Laura Mercier:

For Navy, try out Bobbi Brown and Lancome which has some particularly beautiful blues this season:

Green gold yellow purple are all good colours of shadow
Wear shades of brown shadow and use brown eyeliner with black mascara. Open up your eyes with lighter colors
Wear medium brown eyeshadow over your lid, and then a light pink on the crease. Put white on the brow bone and blend well.
Put a brown liquid liner near your bottom lash-line. Make it a defined, but subtle line.
A dark, rich brown pencil eyeliner is really great.
Urban decay has this color called bourbon, and it's great
Make sure you curl your lashes, and you can put the curler under a blow-dryer on hot prior to using it.
After your eyelashes are curled, apply mascara in a brownish black.
for an evening look, wing the eyeliner for a cat eye look
hope this helps!
Products-
Urban Decay Glide on Eye Pencil in Bourbon
Almay Intense i-color liquid liner in brown
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Luminous shadow in Bronze ambition, too too pink, and glow nude
Maybelline Define-a-Lash Mascara
You should be able to find these all at a drug store for a reasonable price, except for the Urban Decay eyeliner. I'm sure you can find a cheaper alternative, but the color is perfect for blue eyes.

Can I use eye makeup remover with my contacts in?
I use the 30 day/30 night contacts that I do not take out at night, can I still use eye make up remover when my contacts are in?Can I use eye makeup remover with my contacts in?
i wear contacts and i once slipped and got my eye which totally irritated it. i would buy make-up remover wipes that says ';contact lens safe';. its way less of a hastleCan I use eye makeup remover with my contacts in?
I suggest, the Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup remover. You shouldn't be pulling or tugging at the eye. The eye is a very sensitive area. Once your eye gets out of shape it doesn't go back.
Yes and no - it really depends on how much makeup you are wearing and if your using the right eye makeup remover. I suggest Mary Kay Eye Make Up Remover; it works great and I use it with my contacts in. Also, a cheap alternative is petroleum jelly! If your wearing heavy makeup, I suggest taking out your contacts before removing your makeup to avoid any irritation.
Yes you can, just make sure if you accidentally get any in your eye that you rinse your eye AND your lens well.
Take out your lens and rinse in solution thoroughly as some make up remover may remain on the lens and when you put it back in your eye it will sting again.
I rarely ever take out my contacts and have always used remover...just dont get it in your eyes!
yes but be extremly careful when you get really close to your eyes
Yes, if you are careful.
Sure! As long as you dont get it in your eyes! I have contacts and i use makeup remover pads! HOPE THIS HELPS!
Yeah, as long as you are careful not to get it in your eyes. I do the same thing and I got a little in my left eye last night and it was not pretty.

Any suggestions on how I should apply my eyeliner.Whats a good way to put on my eye makeup to make my eyes look diamondish?
apply a thin layer of eye liner just on the bottom lid. you want to get a sparkly silver eyeshadow and thin applicators. apply the eyeshadow only up to your eyelid top. apply a thin layer at the botton of your eyes.Whats a good way to put on my eye makeup to make my eyes look diamondish?

put a VERY SMALL amount vaseline or cream on your eyelid. put they eyeshadow on your eyelid over the cream.. silver would work best. or a metallic color. then add a little fairy dust if u have. any glittery stuff but only a little or it could be irratating.
glitter
well you should do it so it goes past the eye sort of goes to the side a little more.
well i forgot what she looks like but you could try a silvery light blue eye shadow w/ revlon lash diamonds
try bedazzled biscotti from cover girl
for my eye make -up, i put a little bit of black eyeliner under my eye, with some light brown glittery eyeshadow.
if you want to make your eyes ';pop'; use a white or beige eye liner.
good luck

I really want to learn to do eye makeup that's really black, but every time I try it doesn't look right. Any suggestions? Proper basic stuff helps xHow do you do really dark eye makeup?
Jerk below me is so rude. Anyway, have you ever tried black MAC eye shadow? and also there is this product at MAC that you put on your eyes before you put on your eye shadow and it helps it stay on longer and go on ';darker.'; But also try holding the outer corner of your eye and stretch it over to your hairline, not to be racist, but as if your making your eyes look asian, then apply the eye shadow in one even motion and repeat back and forth. How do you do really dark eye makeup?
Look at all those fantastic tutorials on youtube... a lot of girls are putting tutorials there for you to learn how to apply makeup (see in the category Howto %26amp; style) or you can search my 2 favorite ladies : julieg713 (Julie) and panacea81 (Lauren). Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
I want to learn the best way to put eye makeup. Sometimes it ends up looking a little wrong and unnatural when i put eyeshadow and mascara. I prefer to go with dark colours.Any suggestions on how to put eye makeup so it looks nice?
It depends on your skin color and eye color.
Stick with either dark brown or black eyeliner, no weird colors. Don't use too much, just lightly outline the fringe of your lower eyelashes. It also helps to end this line at the midway point of your eyes, and you can even draw it back to the corner of your eye a bit. Eyeliner can pull your look together.
With mascara, dark brown or black once again, and only one coat from the corners of the lashes out. Don't do really weird or unnatural colors. Stick with more earthy tones, and neutral, sheer colors. If you are really pale, use lighter colors. And don't use blue, it will wash your face out. If it still looks funny, cut down on it, maybe skip eyeshadow if it looks odd.
Hope that helps!

vieojug.com in this site, you will find all kinds of videos that show you how to apply make-up !!
ooooo. if you have brown eyes you could get a dark green eyeliner and use it just on your bottom lid. sounds wierd but is pretty. also if you get smudgeproof liquid eyeliner in black or brown and (with lots of practise..or get a felttip end one) draw a line on your top lid only on the lashline. then flick it out a little at the outer corner of your eye where the natural crease is. this can look really nice. i usually only use eyeliner on top or bottom lid never both at once. and eyelash curlers are sooo good!
Go for something that maches your skin tone and hair colour, don't put to much make up on make is look natural. Dark colours are good for a natural look but it's nice to put some brighter colours in aswell.
If you sweep a neutral, pale colur on first all over the lid...a tiny bit of shimmer in it...then use a dark colour on the crease and blend it in welll, that looks good...wet a fine brush and dip in a very dark brown or grey and use it like an eyeliner on your upper lash line...its easier than pencil or liquid liner .
Use a lighter color or frost type shade all over lids. Then use a darker color where the crease of your eyelids are. Then you could highlight with a light color above the crease on your upper eyelid. Make sure you blend so you don't see harsh lines. Using various eyebrushes are important rather than what's given to you in eyeshadows. Open your eyes as well while applying to see if it looks right. Use eyeliner and draw a line as close to the lashes as possible because the idea is to make your eyelashes look thicker. To line lower lash apply eyeliner starting at outter part working your way in to about half way and smudge it a bit.
For mascara, curl your lashes first then apply a couple of coats to your lashes.
I suggest using shades of gray to get that smokey eye look going on. Its so sexy and so in style! And its so easy! First, apply the darkest shade of eyeliner on the lash line. Second, apply the second darkest shade in the crease. Third, apply the silvery gray on the lid itself. Fourth, apply the lightest shade (like a pale pink) as a highlight under the brow. Blend it. Fifth, and last, apply two coats of mascara. And you're done! It's the perfect look for a date! You'll love it girl!

How to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
I recently found out I need glasses because my friends noticed my makeup was getting a little sloppy. Now I can see but I haven't figured out yet how to do makeup around my eyes while I'm wearing glasses (contacts aren't an option). It may be a stupid obvious question but I don't know the answer! ThanksHow to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
alright, what your going to want to do is put your glasses all the way at the tip of your nose, then tilt your head up just a little. this will allow you to see, but still have room to apply your make up. How to apply eye makeup with glasses on?
i wear glasses too, and what you do is you take off your glasses before applying makeup, but you stand close to the mirror so you can see what your doing! (:

Pic or video's would be great.I need some hot eye makeup ideas that involves eyeliner brown or grey eyes shadow?
I don't have either but a smoky eye is always a good choice... for example do a light grey or silver on your lid with either a dark grey or black in your crease. Do your eyeliner whichever way looks best... for example I have really large eyes so I do mine thick and smudged but my friend has smaller eyes and does hers thin and clean. You can do the same with a light/dark brown. :)I need some hot eye makeup ideas that involves eyeliner brown or grey eyes shadow?
